Re: Dale Alcock in the Perth Hills..PCI in 2 weeks!! 405Sep 24, 2013 12:17 pm Thanks Ladies! My husband has had to go o/s tonight to see his family and wont be back till the day before PCI so ill be busy organising everything. Although to tell you the truth, this build has been pretty much my project anyway. This build has gone so slow since the start but the last month has gone pretty quick. The painters are back today and the bulkhead in the kitchen us finally been done today. Ill post some pics when i can. But hubby earns the money to pay for it hehe Thats the way it should be, ha ha! But you know they wouldnt be able to look after the build and the kids! We are the only ones qualified to multitask! Re: Dale Alcock in the Perth Hills..PCI in 2 weeks!! 408Sep 25, 2013 10:05 pm Well a big update! My handover has also been booked for next Monday. My SS is obviously very confident there will be no major problems at PCI! Maybe cos Im at the house so often and i have her number so talk to her quite regularly. Most issues have been sorted out along the way! Main things to finish - recess doors into concrete (being done tmw) - finish off painting (2days of work i guess) - garage doors - install sliders in laundry and robes - install mirrors and shower screens - cover up manhole - finish off aircon - floors are to be grinded down at the request of our flooring company - site and internal clean I cant believe in less than 2 weeks we will have keys! Ive booked our wood floors to go in the following week. Apparently it will be 3 weeks before furniture can go in. Now i really need to find a good contractor to do the exposed aggregate or liquid limestone under the front verandah. Any recommendations would be welcome My build thread: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=64437 Re: Dale Alcock in the Perth Hills..PCI in 2 weeks!! 410Sep 25, 2013 11:12 pm Wow - 2 weeks how exciting Tracy! That seems to have flown! How long from slab down? Re: Dale Alcock in the Perth Hills..PCI in 2 weeks!! 411Sep 25, 2013 11:31 pm Wow that's super exciting! Re: Dale Alcock in the Perth Hills..PCI in 2 weeks!! 413Sep 26, 2013 9:03 am Congratulations!! You must be very excited Re: Dale Alcock in the Perth Hills..PCI in 2 weeks!! 414Sep 27, 2013 1:00 pm Well not a good day on the building front. Some little @ssholes broke in overnight and poured our paint all over the glass doors and walls etc. They also tagged the walls with some sort of red marker. We think they got through an awning window, and i didnt think anyone could fit through one of those. There were cars on the street that were also vandalised! My SS who was heading down south today turned around to come sort it out. The forensics will be there this arvo to take pictures and get finger prints. I should be glad i guess it happened before handover as the builder has to deal with it and not me. Its just very disheartening to know some little sh*ts have been through my house. I hate vandalism. I just want to know where the parents of these kids think they are!! They should be made responsible! My build thread: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=64437 Re: Dale Alcock in the Perth Hills..Vandalised :( 415Sep 27, 2013 1:18 pm No no no no no!!! That is terrible Tracy ! I would be fuming! I hope they catch them! No respect anymore I know dales will sort it all out for you. Stay strong Re: Dale Alcock in the Perth Hills..Vandalised :( 417Sep 27, 2013 1:24 pm GGRRR that makes me so mad, how dare they. Because no one lives there yet they think its ok to break in and damage the place, they dont realise the emotional investment please make when they plan every detail to make their family a safe home. Re: Dale Alcock in the Perth Hills..Vandalised :( 418Sep 27, 2013 1:39 pm That's terrible news ! Feeling for you, hopefully it will be sorted out quickly but I'm sure it won't help the feeling right now.
