I'm just worried that our doors are quite plain and our handles are quite small so one might not be enough? The cabinet makers were really patient with me, and said they are booked to be installed next week so I can take my time deciding. Here are a couple of kitchens from houzz that have the double handle for those of you who may not have seen it before. Think possibly the single just edges it. Good luck with your decision it's not easy when it's such a large feature of your home. I have decided to source my own handles as none of the range jumped out at me at pre-start especially for the upgraded cost. Did you source yours yourself? They were all too modern for us. It took me ages to find some though. I don't think I have spent so much time on anything else with the house as I did trying to find cupboard door handles! I have seen a few I like on the internet but not sure I'm brave enough to order them without physically seeing them. Been to bunnings and masters but not seen anything that really jumps out at me. We went to a few kitchen places but unfortunately they don't sell the handles alone without you getting the full kitchen from them. It must be really exciting now seeing everything coming together. But if you're already going double on the pot drawers then I would worry about it looking strange. I like matching, I like continuous, so I would go the double handles. p.s. your build is looking great! If anyone is interested, I found similar looking handles at a place off canning highway. I am not a fan of modern handles either, and they have some really different handles there that I hadnt seen anywhere else. I believe they had some fairly similar to the ones tracy is using. If anyone wants a pic or the details of the place let me know. After much deliberation and constantly changing my mind, I'm going safe and having a single handle. The cupboards above will only have knobs so I thought I better not go too busy on the bottom. It's funny how you fuss and stress over such a decisions and then I'm sure once you live in the house for a week, you wouldn't even notice. I'm usually the same, but the bigger pot drawers are quite a bit bigger and they are in the island so you don't really see them. I hope I've made the right decision. Oh we'll, I guess if I really hate it, I can replace the fronts down the track and do it the other way. My build thread: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=64437 Re: DA in Perth Hills, lock up so close 258Aug 08, 2013 5:48 pm I prefer single handles when doubles are not required by the sheer size of the drawer. Mainly because single handles should always make a perfect centred line and I can be a bit OCD. I'm sure they'll look fabulous!
