Our neighbour is doing a boundary build much to my disgust, and when we saw the trenches dug, we discovered that it appeared far too close to our wall, when it should be 1m. We measured from boundary marker at front and back with a string line, which was 1m from our wall. The trenches were into our property by 18cm! I know it doesn't sound like much, but we were afraid we'd only have an 82cm walkway. In the end, the slab is 1m from ours, but is encroached underneath ground level. Hope you get it sorted! The only way to sort it out is to hire a construction lawyer. Sad days unless you have the time and money . Tbey know the majority of families cannot afford the legal bills. Builders play that game so well they know how to disinformation been given. Stay strong hold your ground its strespassing as it is. You can clain that person land if need be. Building in metro Victoria, with a non-volume builder & apologies in advance for the long post. However, has anyone been subject to a Post Contract Variation… 0 12671 agree with above, you have about 10-15% gradient there. Assuming you want a house pad about 20m long and half cut, half fill you’ll need 1-2m high retaining wall on each… 2 4228 |
