Hopefully you start to see some real progress soon - as soon as they start laying the bricks the walls will fly up! We've generally had fairly good dealings with the relevant organisations we've had to deal with, but on the other hand it seems in the building industry a good motto is 'hurry up and wait'! We're basically a week or two away from practical completion by my guess, but even at this late stage HBC are STILL unwilling to give us a completion date (pretty useless I think!) so you've got that to look forward to I guess Well, good luck and I hope to see your own blog soon enough with some photos Tez Avalon at Baldivis Homebuyers Centre Ultimate St Marks Our home thread: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=64428 Re: Homebuyers Centre Ultimate St Marks - Avalon at Baldivis 386Jan 18, 2014 1:26 am Tez Avalon at Baldivis Homebuyers Centre Ultimate St Marks Our home thread: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=64428 Re: Homebuyers Centre Ultimate St Marks - Avalon at Baldivis 387Jan 18, 2014 1:31 am It seems they still haven't delivered the limestone coloured pavers for the alfresco, but there remains quite a lot of the pavers used for the driveway - a lot more than what is required to finish that off! I wonder if they got mixed up and think that the driveway pavers are also going to be alfresco pavers! We would like to have timber venetians or shutters but that will have to wait I guess! That colour is called steel grey. The colour they were meant to use is Limestone. Then again maybe I'll have a bit of bargaining power getting them to change something else in the house - we want to get the hardiflex ceiling over the porch changed so that it has a flat finish like the ceiling in the alfresco. Look at the pavers at the front of the pic, they don't even look level.
