As for if it's worth doing with C, I can't attest to that in all honesty I didn't even look into it. I can't imagine you will save much money if that's the goal and on top of that I'm fairly certain it's one of those possible estate requirements. I hadn't even thought of adding it till you mentioned it in an earlier post, always just though i would add it later. goodness.... Yet another thing to add to the list to talk about!! Our new CLE called me to introduce himself the other day, making sure he was picking up n the right spot that the last lady left off... He seems like he's on top of it and has already put my mind at easy on a couple of questions!! Hi there, Nice to read your building experience .We are almost certain on building the Bellevue 24, have added most of their extras like flooring, kitchen upgrades , Impressions & Indulgence which will be 20k above the base price.Hope we do not have to spend anymore as we are already on our max budget. Did you go overbudget with your upgrades? Re: Our first little Bellevue in the Fields!! 25Jun 19, 2013 4:31 pm NatTabs More pictures! Our land in the other direction! Hey NatTabs, Just wanted to ask with the glass splashback in the promo, do we get a colour at the back or is it just wall colour? or is that why you paid $500 extra for? btw I've signed on with Carlisle homes as well to build westwood 29 Re: Our first little Bellevue in the Fields!! 27Jun 19, 2013 6:35 pm February12 Hey NatTabs, Just wanted to ask with the glass splashback in the promo, do we get a colour at the back or is it just wall colour? or is that why you paid $500 extra for? btw I've signed on with Carlisle homes as well to build westwood 29 Congrats for signing up with the Westwood!! I love keeping up with where everyone is up to!! We got the Glass Splash back with the Kitchen Package, then have to pay $744 (originally though it was $500) to have 'Starfire glass' which allows a lighter colour to be painted on the back without having the green/blue tinge. Im not really sure if it costs for a colour that doesn't need the Starfire glass. In my tender paperwork is states that the Kitchen package includes clear glass which may have a natural blue tint. under 'kitchen variations' it states "will provide starfire glass splashback to kitchen in lieu of standard clear glass. $744" so im guessing the colour is included...... we chose the colour behind it in our colour selection appointment... I assume it would be included in our tender document if it was charged separately.... might make a note of this for our contract appointment!! lol Built With: Carlisle Homes - 2013 Our first home Quantum Homes - 2016 Quantum Homes - 2018 Our Almost Forever Home! Did you go overbudget with your upgrades? Thanks MPP!! We had our tender appointment last Thursday... Honestly I was really scared!! My partner and i walked through the showroom and added ALMOST EVERYTHING we wanted! Thinking at tender we could take out everything that was going to be too expensive!!!! I'm really happy to say that it wasn't as bad as i thought it would be!! We added the Kitchen and Flooring upgrades, the Evap. Cooling, plus lots of little bits and pieces! (shower niche, upgraded shower heads, upgraded range hood, provision of NBN connections to garage, TV package, remote garage, Front door upgrade and translucent glass, mirrored robes to 3 bedrooms about 2k's worth of electrical additions ect.) All up our bits and pieces are costing us about $40k..... ouch... bit sorry I calculated that now!!! I was expecting about $230-240000ish as we werent sure what our site costs would be. But all up its come in at $222000. Having said all of that, in that $40,000 we have $8000 worth of extra house. We are getting rid of the Alfresco area and extending the living/ rumpus room to give us more space! We will eventually build our own outdoor entertaining area, so thats extra flooring and external wall... I'll post our plans up shortly! Where are you up to with your build?? Appointments done?? Ive been trying to see if i could get colour instead of plain wall then I saw your colour pic and was so excited, it is possible. Yay!! Was just rereading our tender paperwork and found a piece in the 'kitchen pack' section that has a note "important note clear glass has a natural tint therefore chosen paint colour will be varied in appearance." I have noted it down to ask, but pretty sure its included! Built With: Carlisle Homes - 2013 Our first home Quantum Homes - 2016 Quantum Homes - 2018 Our Almost Forever Home!
