You have caught up to us by the sounds of things!! Our SS swap looks to have slowed things down a bit ( but possibly just a slow in communication!) We are meeting him tomorrow at the house... Will be questions about possible handover dates for sure!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk. Pretty pleased with the outcome of it all. We brought up a few small things we had found or questioned (mortar colour on the back wall changes half was up the wall, colour of pipe from aircon, fridge space) then asked the mighty question! How's our timeline looking!? He said their normal timeline is out the window for our job as they want it done by Christmas! Tillers where there laying tiles when we were there. Next we have electrical/ plumbing/ aircon & heating fit offs. Shower screens mirrors and ceasarstone benches will be next carpet and all the little extras. Apparently we should be looking at PCI in 2-3 weeks!! After all the good news and excitement I completely forgot to take photos!!!! Not like me at all! We have our paint all done! It looks amazing! I love it so much and am so happy with our choices! We drove past again today to peek through the windows, but found that the laundry sliding door had been left unlocked!! So had a cheeky look around!! Heaps of photos this time!!! The tiler had finished, just 1 tile to replace and a few places to re-grout, otherwise a good clean!! Finally got to see our colours all together... I just love it! Can't wait to move in!!! The facade is being painted. Having a look at their build process handbook, it says it should take between 7-14 days to fix any imperfections we find at PCI (as long as there is nothing hugely wrong!!) which puts us at the 20th dec, which also happens to be Carlisle's last day before christmas break! Soooo we are hoping somewhere around the 16-17th for settlement!! We have figured out that they leave the laundry sliding door unlocked (don't know if its for the tradies that have to come and go!) so we have been able to sneak in and have a look almost every time we have been there! We have only picked mount little things like paint and minor chips and dents in the walls, so I'm thinking PCI and any fixing will be pretty quick! Facade is looking great and site clean makes it start to look like a real little house! Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ From the hallway looking at our front door! He's great! Went through the whole house!! Me, my partner, his dad and my mum and dad all picking defects in paint!! Fun times! Our glass splash act is still MIA, but he assures us it's on it's way!! It's mainly the paintwork that needs touching up, 1 of the kitchen cabinets has more of a gap between the joins, so that's getting adjusted , and 2 tiles need replacing (one in the ensuite and one in the bathroom, there was a mixup with what shower rail goes in which room!) Otherwise it should all be done by the end of this coming week!!! Settlement for the 16-17th hopefully!!!! Looks like our living room has measles with all the paint touch ups!!! Want to ask if I can please have some info on the upgrades you have. Are you able to provide costs on the following please? -stained front door (timber look I think it's the WIN52 or WIN52G door) with translucent glazing - star fire glass upgrade - on the mirrored sliding doors, did you have to upgrade on the vinyl wrap on the edges? I have included this on our quote but unsure what it will be like or was there any other upgrades needed to be done. - niche to master bedroom headboard if any? Love the forum, found very helpful information from you guys. Thanks. Re: Our first little Bellevue in the Fields!! 93Jul 11, 2017 9:38 am Wow... This feels like lifetime ago!! After 3 years of living in our first home we put if up for sale and to our surprise, got more than what we originally thought.
