Arrive at the house and we have doors, bath surround and water pipes!!! . Looking good How is the schedule looking to get in for Christmas? We are a few stages ahead (Fixing - painting) and hoping end of November. Have been on the SS to keep pressing that we want it before Xmas too (slab was month-two months over due). Your color selection looks great and a few similar choices to our build - look forward to seeing the internal photo's once the kitchen gets going. Did you get half strength or full strength beige for the walls? Looking back through the older posts, we had change of CLE too, seems the middle of this year sometime Carlisle did some major internal restructuring, as lots of things got juggled (and lapses between some document versions due to this). Our project dragged along, with a delay from SE water (not that Carlisle was following it up fast - we intervened to expedite things) Carlisle Homes ~ Winslow 33 http://jm-winslow33.blogspot.com.au/ 04/7 - Site cut 22/8 - Base 28/8 - Frame 02/9 - Roof 15/9 Plumbing & Electrical 7/10 - Lockup November - Complete Re: Our first little Bellevue in the Fields!! 70Oct 18, 2013 8:21 am Hello NatTabs, Your house is powering along with Carlisle. I noticed we have a couple of similarities with our 'Carlisle Homes' - we have been settled into our 'Savannah 28' (now discontinued) for two and half years with no issues and just love our home. If your interested in our house build/blog - we selected as you, 'Hampton Putty' Tile throughout, Beige Royal Qtr for interior painting and have the same kitchen layout. Enjoy your build. Our slab was delayed but only by about a week and a half because of rain, has powered along since though! We have full strength beige for the walls and quarter strength for the arcs. Our first CLE stuck around for about a month then the second was around from Colour selection until just after contract signing, the third has been good so far... We arrived back into Melbourne around 10pm last night, got up this morning and got ready for our house visit. We were so excited and nervous to see how much had happened in the week that we had been away! We have now got the slab and the frame guys should be onsite today. Question: How do you place photo's on your on this site? A Sounds like yours is coming along nicely as well! As far as the photos go, I have the 'tapatalk' app on my iPad and iPhone, so it's really simple, with a little photo pic you press that adds the ones you select. On the net is a bit more complex. I downloaded the photobucket app and get direct links for the images that I upload. You add the link for the photo in between the IMG text in the full editor... Just re-read that -doesn't make much sense, but I don't know how else to explain it!! So news and photos from our meeting with our SS this afternoon! Met with him for the first time today as he was on leave when our house started (we had a stand-in supervisor until this guy returned). Looks like we will be getting someone new again!! Apparently Carlisle are shuffling supervisors to cover different areas... And we get a new one from next week...... Does this surprise me!???... Not really... We have had 3 different CLE's why not have 3 different supervisors!!? Anyway, other than that everything is still powering on... SS said that next is paint then tiles then fittings (air con and heating ducts, electrical etc ect)... I didn't end up asking about per Christmas handover as I figure as of next week he won't be dealing with us anyway... I'll just ask the next guy!! Not much has changed with the front. Some paint done by the end of next week, tiling about 2 weeks, fittings about 2 weeks, then PCI... Plus fixing time for anything we pick up in our PCI inspection.... It's too close to Christmas to tell if it will be done or not!!! I have to ask the next SS... It's starting to send me a bit loopy!!! .
