Really praying KH don’t waste further time. Once we get the final estimates we can sign contract and move on. I must say the estimating team have limited resources - 1 or 2 staffs. It’s well over 5weeks and still waiting! Re: Building with Kurmond Homes 1862Oct 08, 2021 5:31 am Haddie @stephanievella21 Thanks for the response. That is heaps better than 6months. Really praying KH don’t waste further time. Once we get the final estimates we can sign contract and move on. I must say the estimating team have limited resources - 1 or 2 staffs. It’s well over 5weeks and still waiting! Yeah definitely. I must say the beginning process took us a long time. A total of 9 months from sales to contract, but the contract stage definitely took a month to wrap everything up and then like I said, once contract was signed it’s been quick. I think we were in Colours stage for two months. Took about just over a month to get the pricing done, so yeah, I hear you. I’m very grateful though, because I know a few people building that have waited more than 6 months from contract to start build, so definitely can’t fault them on that. Re: Building with Kurmond Homes 1863Mar 23, 2022 8:21 am Hi All, I really like Glenleigh 41 design and I am thinking of paying initial deposit of $1500 to kurmond. But before that just wanted your opinion. Can you please provide an update on how your build has progressed? Any feedback about kurmond would be really appreciated. I have read some horror posts about kurmond in the past and that’s the reason I am a little skeptical. You may have read many horror posts and still if you would like to go ahead it’s your choice. I would never ever recommend them. Hi Pratikdharma I'm KRB my home and didn't know who to choose to, but the service from the frontline staff was amazing compared the others that we visited at the time. Sometimes we can't just go by the first impression, but I'm glad the whole team that I've had to deal with so far has been 👍🏻 I'm at pre-construction phase, and so far to date from when I first started, Kurmond (staff which I've been assisted by) has been very helpful, prompt at replying, and had been moving things which are within their control very quickly eg: varying the floor plans are done as soon as they are able to by the drafts team, if its external related they provide an estimated time frame so that we are in the dark. I haven't come across any issues to complain about yet. My build progress is slow (due to Bank) but is moving as fast as Kurmond can do from their side. If you want more info, feel free to PM. We are house building novices and have just bought an old house for knock down and rebuild in St George region, Sydney's South. We have pretty much made the decision to build with Kurmond Homes and our chosen floor plan is Bronte 35 (it's a new design they've just released). We are waiting for our initial tender and concept plan. Site survey has just been done and soild test is scheduled. I will try to post updates along this joruney Hey Momomomo, how was your experience with KM. We liked Bronte35 and was keen to go ahead. And then I stumbled upon reviews here. Now in 2 minds. If you can share your journey and experience will really appreciate it. Re: Building with Kurmond Homes 1869Jun 09, 2022 6:42 pm Hey guys, Anyone started their build with Kurmond Homes in last 3-4 months? We liked their Bronte 35 design. But in 2 minds now after reading some reviews. Any input or suggestions is appreciated. Thanks Re: Building with Kurmond Homes 1870Mar 04, 2024 2:28 pm Avoid Kurmond Homes. Our experience was absolutely disappointing and heartbreaking. We spent 30k, and 2 years later still no DA. The design and pre-construction team are just plain bad at their jobs. Months and months of delays, no claim of fault, slow to respond, suprise costs, and price increases every 6 months. Ask for references and speak to them. If they are defensive or try to avoid the request, walk. 1 76061 I would never build with Fowler homes. I built with them in 2021 and till date maintenance issues are pending.
