Re: Hickinbotham "Coast Estate" Seaford Rise 83May 20, 2013 8:40 am Thanks Tristam!! I hope so hachy but I have my doubts. Hickies want their first progress payment before they start which is all good but our bank says the first one can take up to 2 weeks. Hopefully it doesn't take that long otherwise it is going to be a really long 2 weeks. Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Hey,great plans! I noticed on your plans there is a note that states "3 Capped off light points future pendants",can you elaborate on this please as im playing with our elec plan ATM for our up coming selection cheers Hey Thanks, We love the Adelaide MK 2. That floor plan is what made us decide to sell up and build in the first place, then we decided that we wanted to build the Ashville but couldn't find a block wide enough. We wanted to put pendants over the kitchen bench and during our selections appointment we were informed that we had to have our own electrician put them in but they could put the wiring in place. Where are you building? if there is anything else you want to know don't hesitate Cheers Love your plans and your colour selection!!! My husband and I are building the Ashville in Seaford Meadows. What are the width differences in your choosen plan compared to the ashville, they look very similar! We are just about to have our slab poured. I look forward to following your thread! Hi zoewenham13 Thanks for following!! Great choice with the Ashville we love that floor plan. It is very similar to ours, just ours is only 15m wide and is nearly 20m deep whereas the Ashville is a bit over 16m wide and 18 or 19m deep (i think from memory). Our block is only 17m wide and we couldn't fit it on sadly but we are very happy with our choice. When is your slab due to be poured? do you have a thread we can follow? Cheers Re: Hickinbotham "Coast Estate" Seaford Rise 86May 21, 2013 8:12 am DavCar13 Quote: Love your plans and your colour selection!!! My husband and I are building the Ashville in Seaford Meadows. Cheers I'm hoping our slab is going down today actually. Although when I went to check the site I could not see any electical conduit, but after ringing Statements they assured me its one of the first things they do. So if its not done it will only make their jobs harder. I do not have a thread yet as I'm not 100% sure how to start one.... I'll have to try and figure it out today maybe. Re: Hickinbotham "Coast Estate" Seaford Rise 87May 21, 2013 11:37 am if it is raining down there like it is up here in roxby doesnt look like you will get your slab today Re: Hickinbotham "Coast Estate" Seaford Rise 88May 21, 2013 11:42 am The weather down this way has been ok so far. Can anyone tell me who Hicks or Statemans use for their kitchens? I'd like to make some changes but Statemans says they wont let me, its too late. viewtopic.php?f=31&t=64909 Re: Hickinbotham "Coast Estate" Seaford Rise 91May 21, 2013 2:00 pm I am not 100% on this but going by something I found on the Hickies website it looks like they use Supreme Kitchens http://www.hickinbotham.com.au/page/content/our_range/trends/kitchen_secrets http://www.supremekitchens.com.au/index.htm Re: Hickinbotham "Coast Estate" Seaford Rise 92May 21, 2013 6:23 pm As far as I know it is Farquhar kitchens--website here. They definitely do the wrap doors. The one on Marian Road is worth a visit. The woman I talked to was very helpful. Enquiries by phone have resulted in less than helpful experiences, but that might just be me. I haven't been to their other centres. Oh, and Hickies told me they don't do two-pack. A friend took that photo for us this afternoon, so we decided to go down tonight and have a look. I cant believe how much timber there actually is. It takes up so much room, I don't know how the chippies know which piece goes where! Hopefully they start it tomorrow Re: Hickinbotham "Coast Estate" Seaford Rise 98May 23, 2013 7:35 am oooo yay super exciting!!! brick and frame! could be a busy couple of days for your build!
