I'm sure there's enough other house stuff to deal with Re: RedInk, Baldivis - Moved In, finishing off - Pics 1127Jan 15, 2014 2:37 pm I have mine built in with trim kit and space is much smaller. How come theres a gap between microwave and drawer? Id make them come fix it all Wow backyard done already well done! I cant wait to cover up the sand haha Re: RedInk, Baldivis - Moved In, finishing off - Pics 1128Jan 15, 2014 3:13 pm Oh how nice to have your lawn down and some plants in. Essential to cover up the sand with kids and dogs ASAP. Noticed you have nice bare wall at the sides. We have Solar hot water storage tank gas bottles and also have a horrendous pipes sticking out near the front part of one side of house. I am annoyed. I only paid for a recess. Was told (by mum - who i thought knew better haha) that you do the trim kit when you get the microwave. Now I have looked into it I realise this is incorrect and you need to do it before that. Anyway - mine will look like yours. I think I paid $550 for the hole - expensive considering haha. Why do they put those big powerpoints in anyway? Re: RedInk, Baldivis - Moved In, finishing off - Pics 1131Jan 15, 2014 6:13 pm ardie514 Everything except the microwave looks awesome. I'm sure there's enough other house stuff to deal with Thanks ardie, I am sure that the SR did cost it at $$$$ (never saw an actual figure for it as it was all part of the upgrades / inclusions that he did for the $260,000) LeanneR I have mine built in with trim kit and space is much smaller. How come theres a gap between microwave and drawer? Id make them come fix it all Because the cabinet maker made it for a free standing instead of an inbuilt, he allowed heaps of space. The cupboards don't have handles so they have a ledge type thing that allows you to open them. I have been onto the CLO & cabinet company wasn't back until Monday & am still waiting to hear when they will be coming to replace damaged doors in my bathroom & re adjust the rest. :S I hated that every time I had a window open there was a sand pile on the floor...so glad that we have lawn.. jibs Oh how nice to have your lawn down and some plants in. Now I have looked into it I realise this is incorrect and you need to do it before that. Anyway - mine will look like yours. I think I paid $550 for the hole - expensive considering haha. Why do they put those big powerpoints in anyway? Part of our inclusions was an "inbuilt" microwave, so yes we did $$ for it. The cabinet maker stuffed up though when they made the cupboards, they only made the cupboard for a free standing not an in built. I would think that in order to turn it back into an inbuilt they would have had to take out the whole end cabinet, the essastone benchtop & remove my splashback...so I honestly wasn't going to pay another $1000 for another splashback & wait god knows how long for a new cabinet....but it def needs a something to make it look finished. So we have been in for almost 4 weeks & these are our current concerns.... - AC unit is throwing up an E3 error - it stopped working last Sat when it was 43c outside....(AC company coming to assess tomorrow & if needs be we will be getting a new unit) - Kids bathroom bath tub tap has a major pressure issue & is very very very slow to fill the tub...I resorted to using the shower to fill it but have given up now getting the kids into the bath, showers only atm (plumber is due tomorrow to look at it) - I HATE the self closing exhausts that are in the toilets / showers / laundry - they make this god awful "thwacking" noise constantly.....CLO advised that we can remove the rubber flap ourselves but then hot air will be able to get into the house :S - Paver has yet to come back & finish, we have 2 missing pavers & a whoel section of the edge that wasn't concreted. - Still missing a silver powerpoint cover - NBN box still needs to have the door replaced after the Electricians locked the box & took the keys - so we had to "break" into the box when the NBN guys came out to do their thing - We also had to get another company in to "fix" the Antenna point in the Theatre room as the one the Electrician installed didn't work, & they refused to come back & fix it as they weren't the "experts" and just laid the cables...nice one when we paid approx $1500-$2000 for a Smart wiring package. Ridiculous $$ for a hole! I have no idea why they put in the massive points, even the maint guy from the Electrical company was dumbfounded as to why it was so damn big.
