What an unusual design - i like it! We're looking at building with RedInk too so I shall be watching your progress and learning from your experience Good luck with it all Our Custom Dale Alcock build in the Village at Wellard https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=78620 Re: Our first custom build with Redink in Evermore Heights 7Apr 11, 2013 6:46 pm Thanks everyone, it was actually my fiancé s idea with the pool in the middle. There is no roof over the pool either and we r getting solar heating and a liquid pool blanket since its a feature of the house. For us it was more of a safety thing having an enclosed pool as our son has Autism and if we had a pool in backyard with a fence....he would b able to climb it....he's very tall for a 9yr old! For you Redinkers, our kitchen is from the Biscay display & ensuite/WIR from the Hamlin, we will b fitting out WIR after handover at a very good price! A couple more changes to the house.....the main bathroom: removing wall between vanity/bath & removing door and making it all in one room instead of vanity outside, and moving toilet door to passage also. We also added a recessed ceiling to the theatre room. Ask away if you need any prices of upgrades. We r getting our led downlights through builder, got a package deal $6950 for 60 fitted OUR BUILD WITH Redink viewtopic.php?f=31&t=64097 TIMELINE & FINAL PLANS.........Page 1 SELECTIONS.......Page 2 Re: Our first custom build with Redink in Evermore Heights 8Apr 11, 2013 6:58 pm Do you know what model LED's they offer and was that including the lights or just the fitting? We were going to get them installed after handover and that is not much more than our supply and install quotes. I can imagine that must of cost a bomb but worth every cent we are about to have our slab go down with redink and very happy so far Im surprised by your downlight package, nice to not have to worry about it later! Who did you get to quote the fitout for your wir? Im going to start getting some quotes in a week or two Re: Our first custom build with Redink in Evermore Heights 10Apr 11, 2013 7:12 pm love the pool idea house plans are awesome Re: Our first custom build with Redink in Evermore Heights 11Apr 11, 2013 7:30 pm Ohhh nice plan! We did our prestart with redink a few days before you. Wow that led quote is far lower than the price some other redinkers were quoted! I didn't even bother asking because it sounded too high - am now having issues as we can only put them in living areas Re: Our first custom build with Redink in Evermore Heights 12Apr 11, 2013 7:39 pm Wow your plan is great. Look forward to seeing your build progress Re: Our first custom build with Redink in Evermore Heights 14Apr 11, 2013 7:55 pm Munchy Do you know what model LED's they offer and was that including the lights or just the fitting? We were going to get them installed after handover and that is not much more than our supply and install quotes. Hi Munchy, not sure what brand they r but its for the lights & fitting, it was one of their promo flyers (first 12 for $990 then next 12 and so on $1490) that the sales guy gave us but he wasn't supposed to apparently but they gave it to us but wouldn't give us a couple other promos though . We got quoted $10500 to do led downlights after handover for 45 ! Re: Our first custom build with Redink in Evermore Heights 16Apr 11, 2013 8:08 pm xxkatxx Love the pool!! I can imagine that must of cost a bomb but worth every cent we are about to have our slab go down with redink and very happy so far Im surprised by your downlight package, nice to not have to worry about it later! Who did you get to quote the fitout for your wir? Im going to start getting some quotes in a week or two Hi xxkatxx, Thanx! Yea the footings is what costs the most through the builder & roof structure is a bit different too and we r having internal down pipes. The builder is digging the hole for pool then Pool people come and brick it up, concrete the base & the liner goes on last, the 2 internal walls r 34 courses high and one of them is a water feature in cladding. The WIR quote is $2500 through Lifestyle wardrobes in Malaga, they were the best price for what you get.
