Has anyone enquired into the longevity of the coloured bricks. I've decided that I can live with some chipping here and there. Even bigger chips can be taking care of with a visit to bunnings and some touch up paint, but my question is about how long this colour can last. Does this colour fade after several years? Is it possible that rain might erode the colour over time? I'm thinking about getting the chocolato, but worried that it will be high maintenance 5 years down the track. Does anyone know anything about these types of bricks?
Transformation, that is great news about your home. I can't wait to see the next pics...
IMO all bricks fade over time more or less and with time you will get used to the change. Same will happen to your roof tiles, fence, landscape etc. I spoke to PGH and Austral about fading and they said fading doesn't mean you will see the original color of the bricks like you see when it chip.
