Building Washington 29 from Wisdom Home

Keen to know anyone building Washington or built Washington series from Wisdom home!!!

At the moment I have requested for a tender to build at Bunya NSW. The plan and the price suits my budget and lifestyle but since there is no display home for Washington I am unsure how it may look

Can anyone shed some light please?

We built our Majestic 40 without there being a display home. We compared the room sizes on our plan with other Wisdom homes that did have a display home, then we visited those displays that had similar size rooms to get a feel of the room sizes.

We also measured the room sizes compared to our old home we were living in at the time. Overall we got a feel of the room sizes and decided to build the Majestic. Now we are in our new home, the house and rooms are larger than what we thought they would be, which is great for us

Cool didn't think like that. I will check on Wisdom home website for the display home that is similar size as mine one. Thanks for the suggestion.

Spent bit of time over the weekend on Aspiration 29 to compare with Washington 29, looks very similar. Although Aspiration series is prestige series which got great inclusion range. I am quite curious about the radio promo from Dominic (wisdom Home CEO) guaranteeing display home quality finish. What does it mean really?

Getting my tender next week, hope there is no surprise. One thing I noticed though, there is only few Wisdom home out of hundreeds at Bunya....Wonder why? I think Wisdom should lift their game a bit at Bunya.

Hopefully by end this month I will decide between Cremorne 29 from Eben Brae or Washington 29 from Wisdom Home. I will start a new blog or continue on this forum with the status update...Please stay tune if you are interested.

We have nearly finished building with Wisdom in Bunya, and have been extremely happy with the build experience so far. For us the main thing that mattered was the house design itself, we found that the layout was perfect for us with the design that we chose, out of all the different builders designs that we looked at. It was a just a bonus that the inclusions were the best that we could find compared to other project home builders as well. Saying that, we have the Prestige package so more included than if you are building the Washington, but the quality and structure of the build itself should be the same. And the site superviser for Bunya is fantastic.

Thanks for the info Gentoo and congrats. Which house are you building? I know Wisdom admin process is really slow but how did you find their construction process? Prestige inclusion is fantastic, specially the celling hight and bathroom tilling but smart inclusion is ok no complain. Overall I am leaning more on Wisdom over Eden Brae as long as there are no surprises.

We noticed that there are lots of Eden Brae homes going up, but that quite a few Wisdoms have begun recently. Maybe they're on the upward rise. They're definitely outnumbering Champion and Allcastle.

Finally I have accepted the tender from Wisdom today. Overall I am really happy with the service I received from Andrew G and Stacey C. I have made so many phone calls and email but they have always responded promptly. So far it's a good start...

Went through my colour pack last night it was quite exciting. Although i am really confuse as i don't know which is standard and which one is upgrade.

Our colour pack included a handout from W that listed what was a standard inclusion. If you don't have one, give them a call to find out.

Got the Wisdom handout now so much easier. But few other stuff still doesn't have standard range such as leminax, internal colour etc.

Interest rate cut means builders will increase their price. I hope i can start building by October 2013 to keep the same price.

Finally I received my draft plan which is now sent to DRP. It was really exciting as Wisdom did a great job. Washington 29 looks nice with Avanti facade.

Thanks avalanche I hope DRP don't ask for anything drastic. Bunya DRP is really tough in design guidelines, articulation and cross ventilation etc.
