So the land we have purchased has no natural gas (nor does the town) so we are left with either LPG or Elect hotplate. I've alway had natural gas so just looking for opinions on the above.
Thanks in advance

I much prefer it to hot plates. One big plus is that with the number of power outages regional area have, you can always cook. You never really run out. Have 2 bottles and just switch when one empties. One 45kg bottle will last over 12 months. Get an induction cooktop. I can see why you may prefer natural gas over induction, but I recommend induction over bottled gas. You can still purchase a cheap camping lpg gas stove if you need a real wok burner which are much more powerful than the wok burners found on stovetops. I HATE cooking on electric hotplates. From what I have read it is not as cheap as natural gas but as long as you aren't running heaters and what not on it the cost isn't huge. We have always had electric but my mum has LPG. My mum gets quite a few power outages, so perfect to still be able to use the gas.
