I've noticed some houses down our street have a lining on their roof before the tiles go down but ours plus one other didn't. Does anyone know if we'll ever get a lining up there and why this is?

I want a dark brick, and yes, I've been getting the feeling that maybe it's rather ordinary at the moment. (Questioning all my preferences right now--guess that's usually once the selections appointment has been made.) Must be wonderful to see the mortar drying. Dark brick is the 'in' contemporary look at the moment, hence the reason they're all in the higher categories I'm thinking. Looks great. Exciting week ahead for you--hope all goes well. Re: Building the Turin with Simonds at Ambrosia Estate 71Apr 28, 2013 3:43 pm It did! I'm so pleased with it. Especially as we didn't upgrade to the off-white mortar. I think its a forgiving brick Re: Building the Turin with Simonds at Ambrosia Estate 72Apr 30, 2013 9:25 am I think today's the day they are going to properly start doing our bricks!!! I'm so excited! And, as they didn't end up plastering our house but the plasterboard has arrived, I think they may do that today too. Our house will look like an actual house in now time!! Re: Building the Turin with Simonds at Ambrosia Estate 73Apr 30, 2013 9:30 am great news on the bricks looking great Re: Building the Turin with Simonds at Ambrosia Estate 75Apr 30, 2013 9:57 am Thank you Taylor22 and 1Rocky! Re: Building the Turin with Simonds at Ambrosia Estate 79May 04, 2013 10:02 pm Carpet is now in just finishing touches to go. There are some photos on my thread. Still don't love my floors or the facade oh well..with funiture inside and plants and concrete outside it will look different....hopefully Re: Building the Turin with Simonds at Ambrosia Estate 80May 04, 2013 10:17 pm I love your house and your facade and flooring. Maybe its your anxious subconscious because your so close now. Once you've moved in and settled I'm sure you'll love it all. Must be exciting to be so close. I can't wait to be at your stage! Do you have any idea of total build time yet? go upvc window frames ensure insulation under colorbond. not just sarking, lighter color roof also not sure if you have seen this viewtopic.php?t=5823 last couple of pages… 4 110570 |
