Hopefully most things will have been dealt with by the time your new PCI date comes around. Hope so! Though I wish they could grow a pair And just set a date and stick to it ![]() Re: First home build with Dale Alcock in Aveley: Inspection 568Jan 29, 2014 9:12 pm agree with your approach fancy pants, if I'm not happy with progress, I'd rather delay PCI/handover by a week or two. I don't think it'd be easy to get anything done after you paid them in full! Re: First home build with Dale Alcock in Aveley: Inspection 569Jan 29, 2014 10:06 pm Good luck with PCI good to see your building inspector has picked up lots of things for you. I didn't use a building inspector at my PCI so just wondering what things they noticed. Thanks. If any of you are using the "200x400 Tile Gallery White Gloss" from Tiles Expo make sure someone carefully inspects your batch before tiling. This is the wall tile we used in our wet areas. About a third of our tiles have tiny micro chips on the surface. At first we thought it was dirt but it looks to be a manufacturing fault with the actual glaze. We're now facing the prospect of having the ensuite, bathroom and toilet re-tiled. If you'll excuse me, I have a box of wine with my name on it.
