Hi Everyone,
At the start of year My fiance and I finished Building our first home with Burbank in Melbourne.
Now that its been half a year since we settled. I would like to share a few pictures and some info to celebrate the successful build and give back to the community!
This is the front and back of our house completed with Landscaping by Maya Landscaping. It took them 2 weeks to work through the crazy amount of weed and scrap on our yard and turned it into something manageable!

We have learnt a lesson about plants as well!

it seems our area is very wet so the soil stays quite soggy for a long period of time. First round of plants did not survive in the environment and so we had to have Maya replace them with more resilient plants.

Furniture in! I also did a ridiculous amount of research on Bamboo flooring and finally decided on UB Trading who provide a very reasonable price for the flooring and installation. I took the samples they provided to a knife and keys and anything that could scratch but it survived quite well so I have no problems with the two dogs running around

After the warranty period. Burbank was able to fix all issues except for the one above... I started a thread on the forums about this one to get some advice - Thankyou everyone for the input. Burbank was unable to assist us on fixing this pretty visible curve as they said it would require them to get a fair few tradies to try to fix it and potentially come out looking worse. I ended up trusting their judgement and just try to ignore that spot when I walk through my corridor
Now that everything is done and dusted. Time to do the house warming parties!
Thank you everyone for always sharing about their new builds on this forum. It was paramount to many of our decisions in building our home.
Cheers!
