Re: Has anyone used 'Ravlich & Clent' Builder 22Jun 16, 2014 1:11 pm Upperwestside chameau tyli We're still at concept stage but it's been good. The designer's easy to talk to and has provided some very good ideas. I think R&C subcontracts him. I met him at R&C's office but I googled him and he seems to work elsewhere too. Hi Tyli, Its been a few months since your last post, have you signed the contract yet? or are you still considering other builders? Our build is finally at lock-up - its been a long sometimes bumpy road. but we got there eventually. Due to the Christmas break, we may not get the keys till after February! Hi Chameau, have you been handed the keys? How happy are you with the overall build? I'm currently building with Ravlich and Clent and would like to know what to look our for in case they stuff things up. Hi UpperWestSide, Which stage are you at now? Would you agree with Chameau's thoughts? How are you finding R&C and are you happy so far? My building broker is suggesting I take a look at them. Thanks! I got very opinion with Chameau, I will not recommend Ravlich and Clent at all in the future. Re: Has anyone used 'Ravlich & Clent' Builder 24Jun 26, 2014 5:38 pm I am using Ravlich and Clent at the moment, but not happy with them. Totally agree with what Chameau said on June 14, 2014, especially they made so many mistakes so far. I will not recommend them to anyone else at all. Re: Has anyone used 'Ravlich & Clent' Builder 25Sep 22, 2014 11:48 am I was building my house with Ravlich & Clent, but not a happy experience. Unfortunately, we had a young site supervisor [name edited out], and could not be a bit proactive to supervise tradesman, ending up with lots of mistakes. The way he was doing the job appears more to be reactive, rather than proactive. Different versions of plan have been floating during the whole construction period. It took time for them to re-order stuff again. It seems their administration system does not work efficient. Thanks to the God, it is over now. there is only 20% difference in concrete strength between 20 mpa and 25 mpa, so check with your engineer first if it fits his calculation tolerances.
