Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Redink SOR rear build - painting help! 662Feb 12, 2014 3:24 pm Keys one day apart! Have been running on similar timeframes for our builds. I can't help you much sorry with painting. I have never painted before so I will have to learn along the way. Going to use Wattyl paints, oil based for the top coats? Matt/ low sheen finish for the whole house but semi-gloss/ gloss for the bathrooms. Walked around some display homes on Sunday to give me an idea of what colours to go for. Hoping to get the whole house done with painting gear for $1000. Not sure if that is enough or too much but will see haha. Yeah I am hoping for about $1000 as well - though I spent almost $200 at bnnings last weekend just on some equiptment. Paint is expensive! Thats why I freaked out when they said I need binder ($400 ish) plus sealer plus two coats of paint. Are you getting a bow on your door? Ill be upset if we dont Re: Redink SOR rear build - painting help! 668Feb 13, 2014 8:12 am I gave wine & chocolates at PCI. But regretted it from moment I got my keys due to so many issues post handover
