need to get some yellow and green cushions, to tie the sofas in with the chair and the unit. I don't want the red drums there, but John is fighting for it!

I don't think red goes with yellow and green, and they look too prominent as well, although they do look better when that framed poster is on the wall above them.

I love the gorgeous greens of the little side tables, I'm happy with them!

the gray is nice too. (They come as a set). We don't really have room for a coffee table, so we bought those instead.

I don't have anywhere for more furniture hehe. I like the drums near the CDs as it's musical. But I'm not seeing them with green& yellow in that photo

Could get cushions with all 3 colours in them

Is your blind company actually doing something about the blinds in the wonky windows? One of ours is really bad due to the walls not being straight but they said there is nothing they can do?

I haven't been in touch with them yet Kat, but John seems to think they can 'pack' them. We will see the packing as we don't have pelmets, but hopefully that will be better than what we have now. I mentioned packing to a friend who used to work for curtain world and she didn't say 'no, they can't do that', so hopefully John knows what he's talking about!

in my opinion they should have done it the first time round. The fitter does have to come back anyway, as one blind was the wrong size. There's also a black mark on one blind, so really I want them to do something about that too.

Me neither. I don't like red and gray together (sofas are dark gray), so I wouldn't want red cushions. Maybe if we put something red at the other end of the room it might balance it out...

Oh I thought they were black. Maybe a print on the wall somewhere in red or somehing, otherwise got any other spots for drums?
I tend to let DH get his way when he does have strong opinion as it doesn't happen often haha

It all looks sensational. You have a really great eye for colour and design. I love everything just how you have placed it. When will you have your first official night in your beautiful new home! I know it's been a long and arduous road, but Whoo hoo, you made it, and your home looks spectacular

we can hardly believe we've made it - we're both short-tempered types and it is quite an achievement that we're still together!

There are still several redink 'annoyances' shall we say, and some mistakes we have made ourselves, but on the whole - and despite redink rather than because of them - i love it!

I should also have said i am currently sitting in my gorgeous Eames replica chair in my library room (although the shelves are bare), enjoying red wine and some lovely nuts from the redink welcome basket, reading a book as well as writing to you lovely people, and i am happy!

Hello Taylor's neighbours, so happy to say that after signing up in October 2012 I finally moved in to my cottage block on Summerville Bvld in stage 2 over the weekend!
