Browse Forums Building A New House Re: FIRST TIMERS building our first home in SA 41Apr 12, 2013 7:34 am Wow! congratulations. I've read everywhere between 2 days and four weeks. I expect it depends on suppliers and availability of tradespeople. See this post or search the forum for something like "how long for frame after slab". Some of the hits are old, about 2007, so processes might have changed since then. Help!!! 50Apr 14, 2013 11:07 pm We went to the slab again today so excited and we've been told they will start frame work in 2 weeks which is great!! However, we notice in the family area that the slab isn't even. There is a round dip with some raised concrete next to it. It just doesn't look right. Should we be concerned??? I can't image that would be good once flooring goes down!
