I think they may have been redink or aveling people Re: Rex's Redink build- ROOF PLUMBER 222Aug 05, 2013 8:16 pm Hmm, no idea Rex, will be interesting to see how they do that at 31c. I didn't realize it would look like that. Don't like it but what can you do? Re: Rex's Redink build- ROOF PLUMBER 225Aug 05, 2013 9:11 pm Not a lot. Perhaps out speakers or something up there. Make the space useful? Re: Rex's Redink build- ROOF PLUMBER 226Aug 05, 2013 9:57 pm They should brick it up so there is no gap between the pier and the ceiling. Our alfresco piers looked like yours did until the ceilings were done and then they put in some extra bricks. Is there reason they don't just put it in line with the boxed part? Re: Rex's Redink build- ROOF PLUMBER 229Aug 05, 2013 11:07 pm It shouldn't make any difference if it's rendered or not. This is a pic of one of the Goodlife display homes with the piers bricked up in face brick. Perhaps that is what determines how the piers are finished off Our custom Gemmill Home in Bedfordale WA Build thread:https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=53788 Timeline on page 1 Re: Rex's Redink build- ROOF PLUMBER 230Aug 05, 2013 11:38 pm We're having plasterboard. Walls have been chased, water and gas pipes installed and taps put on walls. Roof plumber hasn't finished yet. Maybe it was too windy today. At the house now under the garage hardiflex for shelter from the rain. Cant wait for the roof tiles so the slab can finally have a break from the rain.

The cream colour finish will follow. Also corner beads, wiring and a sweep of the slab has been done. Roof tiles on Monday and Tuesday. Grey float on Wednesday. No waiting for 2 weeks for walls to dry then. Excellent. Things are moving fast. Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Portico.
