The Chifley is very nice and it is funny you say that as I was expecting it to feel a little lighter. It is a beautiful house, however, I think I may actually be leaning towards the Seaview. I think my partner is leaning towards the Chifley...
If you go back to Gledswood & have a look, open those dark wood-finish shutters they've fitted to the upstairs loungey-type area. Those things look great in photos, but in reality they make it too dark up there; opening them up makes a really big difference to the feel upstairs.
I liked the Chifley because of all the void space, it made the house feel really open & luxurious. Plus we're pushing land:floorspace ratio, so stuff like void space (as opposed to space-wasting corridors) is important to us!
