After 2 year planning, i've decided to knock down and rebuild dream home. My builder recommended the demolition company and even though they are 1000$ more, I've went with them.
I've signed the "Consent" form, he told me all the paper work submitted to council and once I moved out of my place it took around 2weeks to remove power cable and gas disconnection process. Once everything is completed, I gave go ahead to my demolition guy, he said he will start the work next week and even he told me asbestos are removed from my place.
We days I was busy with my work and couple of weeks later I visited my place and I was surprised that nothing was done. I contacted him and told the builder we got told that it will done soon. More than two months now and me or my builder can't reach him by any means.
Now I went with another demolition company to start the work and he submitted the paper work to Council for approval process.
My question is,
1. I've signed "Consent" form with that demo company will that be problem?
2. Can I take any action against him?
3. Can I complaint anywhere with my dis-appeared demolition company?
Hopefully I don't have any more surprises.

It seems some in the building game are very unprofessional even if he did suffer a family issue or loss 2 months is a long time. I hope you didn't pay any money to him.
We just did a demo and the guy was unreal - no messing around I hope yours now goes smoothly.
