Browse Forums Building A New House Re: chandler alfresco in the barossa 121May 05, 2013 1:28 pm Happy pills sound good! ! We are in a similar situation, we need to have fences up before we move in because of the retaining on the north and east sides it is up fairly high and dangerous for my kids. So hopefully we have no drama's with neighbors paying otherwise it is going to be expensive Re: chandler alfresco in the barossa 122May 06, 2013 12:14 am emailed our sales consultant in regards to our the neighbouring land to our block and he has given me 2 out of the 3 names and phone numbers although he said the one behind us hasnt had land settlement yet. sent a few queries to several fencing companies today and 1 called me back and is going to email me the quote, hoping the others email me back in the next few days. although we are not getting fences til the build is finished and we are ready to move in we still need to know what sort of $$$ we need to save. Re: chandler alfresco in the barossa 130May 06, 2013 5:45 pm Wow the race really is on!! It's getting exciting now! ! Re: chandler alfresco in the barossa 131May 06, 2013 8:49 pm I'm sure it's not going to look small for long. Get out your masterplan and check the area the house takes up on the block--remember that, not what a pile of dirt looks like now. Once they cut, slab and frame, I'm sure it'll look the right size. Re: chandler alfresco in the barossa 132May 06, 2013 8:53 pm It is pretty deceiving... Even when my slab was laid I was positive it was too small. The perception is a bit skewy... I was quite anxious. Even when the gyprock went up, I STILL wasn't convinced they'd got it right, but once it was painted and looking more house like, the dimensions looked spot on.
