I think it will be a while before I could post any pictures, the builders seems to have been bowled over by the quick approval by the council. They have promised to send us an update next week though. Cant wait to see the materials at the site! Re: Building with Dale Alcock 8Mar 18, 2013 3:21 pm Thats great you had quick council approval. I do get many variations on Nicci but Vicci is a new one for me.. all good Home Group WA Monte Carlo Timeline on Page 1 Re: Building with Dale Alcock 9Mar 25, 2013 11:34 am Hi binan. Fantastic to see you've started your own thread - I wanted to let you know I have subscribed. Hope you don't mind! That's great news that your approvals came through quickly - the 'pre-construction' phase can often be the most amount of waiting - as there's not much to be updated with until construction starts. Have you had your Prestart meetings yet? Looking forward to following your building journey. If there's anything I can help with at any point, please let me know. Best regards, Jemima. We had our pre-start way back in December and were just waiting for land titles. Now that the titles are released and we are in the "construction list" as advised by your Office, we are waiting for the construction to start any time from now...exciting. Re: Building with Dale Alcock 11Apr 10, 2013 7:46 pm Earth works started on the 4th. And some materials are here!! Hope to see the slab down in a weeks time. Apparently ours is the first building to go up in the second phase. Now it is up to Dale Alcock homes if we keep this pace until the key hand over stage. Re: Building with Dale Alcock 12May 24, 2013 11:05 pm Slab down 19th April. Brick work started May first week. Our site supervisor informed that brick work would take three weeks to complete. It is already three weeks now and not even half the work done. Imagine just one brickie fighting it out himself. Yes, he is by himself!!. Dale Alcock say they want to get quality trades in. Pity, they could find only one! By this pace, I dont think they will be able to meet the time schedule anywhere near. Not unless they rush with other works, compromising the "very quality". Re: Building with Dale Alcock 14May 25, 2013 4:26 pm Our neighbour built with DAH and they went 8 weeks over... Re: Building with Dale Alcock 16May 26, 2013 8:28 pm Hi Binan, I totally agree with Althom. We are building with Dale Alcock too and the money we spent for the independent inspection was really well spent. We had many issues and I am looking forward to have this project finished.
