Our neighbours did the same during their build... I have caught a few things that might have otherwise been issues by seeing what was going on regularly. How is your place going? Re: KDR with Wisdom Homes-Aspiration 29 170Sep 12, 2013 3:06 pm i am 2 weeks away from inspection then keys a week later, it is getting there have you taken pictures of all your frames, studs? in case after handover you want to hang a tv or something else, you will know where to drill and hang stuff, you would need to take pictures of electrical wires and pipes also just before the gyprock Re: KDR with Wisdom Homes-Aspiration 29 171Sep 14, 2013 9:00 pm We are a few weeks away hopefully. Painters put the first coat on this week and painted all the doors frames etc in gloss - it looks great! Next week is taps, benches, switches, handles, air-con etc so pretty much everything except flooring and the final coats of paint... Not too far away now! Cheers Re: KDR with Wisdom Homes-Aspiration 29 172Sep 14, 2013 9:14 pm Awesome news Avalanhe and Brizz You guys must be getting very excited being so close to the end! Avalanche- good idea with taking pictures of the frames/studs/wiring etc. We included backing to the areas we think we may hang tv's up, but for other things like photo frames and for future electrical work, that would be great. Re: KDR with Wisdom Homes-Aspiration 29 173Sep 15, 2013 9:18 pm Congrats Avalanche and Brizz, so exciting for you now, hope all goes well. I'm wondering how you get into the house, do you have an alarm installed yet? That stopped us getting in towards the end. Definitely recommend you take a photo of each and every wall for studs......now we are hanging stuff, we had to drill through all of our photo's for studs pics, really glad we had pictures, it helped a lot. Good to see what wiring we had as well as we had to add in an extra power point at the floor level of one if the TV area's which we forgot. We built the Wisdom Majestic 40 - moved in!
