Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Classic style weatherboard Melbourne - Lead-lighting! :D 162Aug 01, 2013 4:55 pm Thanks Judy, I hope so too! Got 2 pots of sample paint, just need to paint a board. I'm hoping that like with the weatherboard test, the colour comes out lighter (I've picked darker on that basis!). The colours will be amazing Re: Classic style weatherboard Melbourne -Hopefully lock-up 168Aug 05, 2013 7:52 pm Aww thanks Treeseachanger. I'm a huge fan of blue and cool colours in general. Really? Never would have guessed! So, I'm quite disappointed in this. I contacted the interior design company responsible for this picture to ascertain the paint colour: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Their response: 'Thank you for your enquiry, as you can understand we are a design company if you would like to know the colour we charge a design fee of $110 for this information. This fee includes a brush out of the colour which will be posted to you.' Ok, so I do get it's their intellectual property. And a $25 or $30 fee, I would be happy to pay. $110 just seems slightly unreasonable for divulging a paint colour. I'm not asking for military secrets or anything. And in fact it's not the $ at all, it's the principle. If they had provided the paint colour, then they'd not only get my appreciation but publicity in this forum as well as my blog. Instead they get nothing. But anyway I'm not done yet. I am a very resourceful person. I'm glad you like them. I hope so. Apparently the sub-flooring is too wet to start the timber flooring, so they have to wait til it dries (that was caused by a delay in finishing the roofing). They are using heaters to try and dry it out.
