House is looking really great! It's amazing what floor tiles can do to finish it all! Fingerscrossed for good weather too! We dont want any more hold ups either!!! Our stairs are going in today!!! Re: Modified Fairmont Geneva- PCI very close! 364Sep 16, 2013 10:23 am Yeah no carpets. I checked yesterday. Also took a squiz through your house. Looks awesome. Love the huge entrance. I know the carpet will go in in a matter of hours. It's the paving I'm most worried about. It is the only thing holding us back really. Bring on PCI Sent from my GT-I9505 using Xparent Purple Tapatalk 2 Re: Modified Fairmont Geneva- PCI very close! 365Sep 18, 2013 8:06 pm Carpets installed. It is Martin place lava stone. Not brown, not grey but somewhere in the middle. Just waiting on the paving........... Sent from my GT-I9505 using Xparent Purple Tapatalk 2 Re: Modified Fairmont Geneva- PCI very close! 366Sep 18, 2013 8:10 pm The frontage is stunning. Bring on those pavers and moving in! Are exotic gardens doing the pavers? Re: Modified Fairmont Geneva- PCI very close! 367Sep 18, 2013 8:16 pm Thanks. I love it too. No we didn't have a choice as it is through the builder. It is the guy who does the paving for the paths and crossovers in our estate who is doing it. Re: Modified Fairmont Geneva- PCI very close! 372Sep 22, 2013 11:35 am Thanks everyone. It is so hard seeing our house sitting there practically finished and waiting for the paving. At least this week the weather is good. Was hoping for PCI by the end of the week but I think it will be first week of October now. At least we will get keys in the school holidays so I can move in before going back to work. Got to organise splash back and blinds still. Later on we will get more paving and our laundry cupboards. Re: Modified Fairmont Geneva- PCI very close! 374Sep 28, 2013 5:41 pm Well we have been told PCI early next week but not confirmed day yet. Think I'm going to make them fix my barge to cream though on the top gable so they match. Think it will help lift the house out of the hole we are in on the left side. It was meant to be cream with grey crows feet anyway. Can't wait to be officially neighbours!! Bring on ours a few weeks after you! Re: Modified Fairmont Geneva- PCI very close! 376Sep 29, 2013 3:27 pm It looks beautiful, Amancharmar. All the best for the meeting, and hope you can move in soon. Regarding the crows feet, I think I'd like them to match too if it were my house. If it is niggling you, and it can be easily changed, ask if it can be done. Re: Modified Fairmont Geneva- PCI very close! 377Sep 29, 2013 3:49 pm Your house is lovely. Looks like we will be having PCI around the same time. We were also Vandalised. Had tubs of paint poured all over the living room walls and doors. Its heartbreaking isnt it. I'll be looking forward to moving in so the house doesnt look like such an easy target. All the best with your pci and handover! Paving prep done but pavers not laid yet. Haven't heard from SS regarding the supposed PCI early this week. With the public holiday next Monday any PCI beyond Thursday will surely result in us getting keys the week after next instead of next week. Grrrrrr so much for moving in in the holidays (teacher). I knew I'd end up with keys the first week back at school (work). Sorry, had to vent. Re: Modified Fairmont Geneva- PCI very close! 380Sep 30, 2013 10:56 pm Tracyw Your house is lovely. So disappointing that people choose to do this. Can't understand what they get out of it. Good luck with your PCI too. I think we may be waiting a little longer now. |
