We are in the process of landscaping and My plan was to extend the driveway on either sides but I am not sure if it will require council approval or not. Has anyone else done this? If so can you please advice what needs to be done and if there are any fees involved? Re: Who else is building at Oran Park? 6595Sep 11, 2017 6:07 pm MKRL S Hi everyone If i extend driveway do i need to check with urban design /oran park town to ensure I'm still eligible for rebate of $5k? Would appreciate any advice/experience. Thanks Hi @MKRL I called Council and they adviced that as long as you have the minimum amount of softscape which I think is 23% (not very sure) of your entire private property you will be fine. If you need to extend the crossover and Council strip with hardscape(concrete or paving) then you need councils permission. You will fill out what is called a non std driveway application and there is a fee of 495. Re: Who else is building at Oran Park? 6599Sep 29, 2017 11:01 pm Hi I'm looking for cheap blind companies. Any suggestions? I can only get one company through the house before handover so won't be able to get multiple quotes. Was wondering if anyone just bought them off the shelf? Is it much more expensive getting them made to measure? Is it worth it? Thanks majestic35.weebly.com Re: Who else is building at Oran Park? 6600Sep 29, 2017 11:07 pm Rocchet Hi I'm looking for cheap blind companies. Any suggestions? Is it much more expensive getting them made to measure? Is it worth it? Thanks Hi Rocchet. Give Rennie a call. His number is 0418 965 362. I think the name of his company is called Phoenix doors and blinds. He is located at Wetherill Park. He charged me $1,800 supply and fit for our entire house. Tell him you got your number from Albert from Oran Park. We got him to sneak in our house on a Sunday so by handover our blinds were ready for installation. Hope this helps.
