These two combined have been offering turn key house and land packages for a budget price. Their packages also include landscaping, retaining walls, fences & gates. Their houses are 21sq and I believe they take the $10,000 rebate that Oran Park offers. They are now selling packages on a 375 sq land for $599,999. They recently built on our street and that project was fully completed within 4 months. I just wanted to ask if anyone has had an experience with them that they can share with us. This is the recently completed house on our street. Grass has been laid. Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Hi Ashooty, MWM Narellan would firstly waste your time. Then they would show u some houses. Then may be you would like one of the houses. They will say all good. Somehow 2 weeks will pass from this stage as they would tell you they are busy. Then finally 3rd week you would want to sign contract and pay deposit for the h&l pack, but then suddenly that house you wanted would have been sold. Dont know how or why but these guys would make stupid reasons like some other sales reps fault. Anyways that property is gone and now you can choose from other more expensive properties. This happens all the time with them. So for a few months you would keep seeing houses you want and would only end up left with a bigger home with a higher price, which yiu never wanted at first place as this was suppose to be investment. And thats what happens with them. In my opinion by doing such things, they are trying to depict to the client that the property in this area is super hot and houses wont stay for long. So no matter you wanted to buy 375sqm block with 21 sq house on it. But now as u see demand is so high for houses, dont hold back and take our 450sqm block with 25sq house on it. I hope it helps. Hi 1st home buyer and thanks for that info. I have heard of those issues. I will visit them perhaps next week and tell them that my budget is $600,000 as they have advertised for house and land so they don't waste my time. I've been watching this thread for a few weeks now and after reading this I had to make an account to reply to you. I myself, like you was attracted to the deceptive price of 600K as advertised by MWM. Long story short,600K is NOT turnkey and just your bare bones stock house on some dirt. No driveway. No landscaping. No air con. No alarm. No alfresco, list goes on. The turnkey package was an additional $17,000 and that still did not include landscaping, only an upgrade to a split system air con. Want an alfresco? Sure, that'll be another $17,000. With all the extra essentials that you pretty much NEED (not the alfresco, I'm talking landscaping driveway etc), it added up to over 635K. After asking him if I could see pricing breakdown for the turnkey package to pick and choose he was really hesitant and didn't end up sending it to me. Terrible company. I will tell them very firmly I only have $600,000. But even $635,000 would still be reasonable shouldn't it? LOVING MY FAMILY TO THE MOON & BACK!! Re: Who else is building at Oran Park? 5992Jul 25, 2016 11:59 am For 635K you can go with a much more reliable builder. I'm currently building with Firstyle Homes, their home build is costing me 242K and I purchased land directly from Landcom for 391K for a 375sq block. Do some more research, ask around and really find out exactly what is, and more importantly, what ISN'T included in your package Re: Who else is building at Oran Park? 5993Jul 25, 2016 5:42 pm lAithsr20 For 635K you can go with a much more reliable builder. Thanks You should try posting in Oran Park Community Facebook page, as it might be easier to find him there. Would also warn others about this douche. Good luck, I'll keep an eye out for him in Camden and Gregory hills forums, incase he decides to advertise his services. Re: Who else is building at Oran Park? 6000Jul 27, 2016 6:12 pm Hi peeps, Our land settled last month and today i received a supplementary rate notice fee of 1345 from camden council. Is this the council fee that everyone pays? Would love to hear from you guys.. A survey must’ve completed by a certified surveyor. This form part of every DA requirement 3 224437 |
