We went with the blackwood plank tile https://fbcdn-sphotos-g-a.akamaihd.net/ ... 8633_o.jpg but they didn't give us a choice for the grout so you can easily see each tile. Yours appears to look much more like wood floor. We love the durability and how easy it is to clean. On our really windy days we just open the front and back doors, and all the dog hair blows right out of the house. They weren't going to give us a choose until I asked what colour they would use and they said cement and sand. Wasn't too happy with that and told them I didn't really want the grout standing out. Really happy in the end Re: Building in Brooks Reach - Community Thread 3835Sep 05, 2014 1:55 pm Oh yay- the fence is down. Great to read everyone's progress. No progress on my behalf. Bit slow at the moment. Waiting for my S149 certificate and final plans to come back from Trevelle. My fault though coz I asked them to pitch the living/dining/kitchen part of the roof LOL. I have always wanted a pitched ceiling but didn't know if I could afford to have it down eons back when we did all the plans. Does anyone else have a pitched ceiling? I am trying to get a rough guess of what it's going to set me back...I think its going to hurt. Re: Building in Brooks Reach - Community Thread 3836Sep 09, 2014 1:17 pm Hi all, I received notice in the mail road works are going to begin on the section of bong bong road from the rich drive to Hayes lane. Scheduled to take 22 weeks depending on weather starting 12th September ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Built the Nova with MJH completed Dec 2013 Re: Building in Brooks Reach - Community Thread 3837Sep 09, 2014 5:41 pm Hmmm I wonder which section of Bong Bong that is...hopefully it doesn't cause too much inconvenience considering at the moment it's the only way into Brooks Reach now that Shone Ave is closed Re: Building in Brooks Reach - Community Thread 3838Sep 09, 2014 6:47 pm It's the main section of where the estate runs along. So from the roundabout basically to up past the sales office. Hopefully aren't too many delays. They are said to be doing it one section at a time and closing only one side of the road to minimise any delays but it's a bit late considering the estate is nearly finished building would have been better doing it whilst the houses were being built but will be great once it's done ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Built the Nova with MJH completed Dec 2013 Re: Building in Brooks Reach - Community Thread 3839Sep 09, 2014 6:52 pm Ahhhh okay. Yeah I agree would have been a lot smarter for them to do it whilst they were building up the estate but oh well, they definitely need to fix up that road so it'll be great when it's complete. Thanks for the heads up James!! Re: Building in Brooks Reach - Community Thread 3840Sep 09, 2014 8:01 pm I wondered when they were going to fix that road, such a nice estate with an ugly road!
