My folks will be moving in a few weeks and have asked me to source a provider, im thinking iinet - anyone use them for the NBN here? Hey Zep, yep we're with IINET: Have been since sept last year - Got it connected within 7days of moving in; haven't had any issues at all. Re: Building in Brooks Reach - Community Thread 2489Mar 03, 2014 9:14 pm Thanks Ruby! good to know, i think they want to go on the 100mb plan which is heaps cheaper than Telstra. Heard some not so good things about iinet, glad to know its strong at BR! Have you had consistent speeds? Really not happy with the time they have taken as I need internet for work. We got unlimited data for $79 month. We were thinking about going with IInet as well. We asked telstra about the NBN and they said we have the line but it isn't active but it should become active in June. Might have to contact IInet see if they say the same. Bamco Katiewaity Very cute dog you know it's a good neighbourhood with so many puppy people around. Poor pups with the strange noises. I was looking into dodo for the NBn Bamco have they given a reason for the delay? My folks will be moving in a few weeks and have asked me to source a provider, im thinking iinet - anyone use them for the NBN here? We went with Exetel. Because our work also has them as a provider, we get a $5/month discount (which covers the cost of the voip phone service we also have with them). We probably got more in the plan than we can hope to use... In our few months of history, we haven't noticed any outages and the speed tests have been as advertised. Yay fricking team....seriously took forever. We went through Telstra and it took over two months of stuffing about to finally be here today. AND, we bought an enclosure for the NBN stuff (a 'Hagar' one) and nbnco refused to install their equipment in it saying it wasn't up to NBN regulations! Far out...I think our plan is some monstrous amount of data per month for $110 month? Something like that anyway. I have hooked up smartphones, tablets, computers, tbox and smart tv today - pretty bloody awesome now watching iview on the smart tv over wireless with no hiccups!
