Happy to see some updates! We went out to our patch of dirt a few weeks ago and it was awesome to see how much had happened!!! Our neighbour contacted me as the waste water project guys had left a letter to do with our septic connection on a wooden stake at the front of the property. We are in the process of getting our $14,000 aerobic system credited back to us and new plans to be approved by the council, hopefully in time for a start by the 30th of June. You will be well and truly settled in by the time we start. Have you popped out to the school yet? I have been at the school Melanie. A few times now. I was actually there yesterday. Ella is all enrolled to start term 2 and has her uniform all organised. I really like the school and the principal. Our finish date is 7 may although I don't hold high hopes and then our flooring needs to be done so I'll be doing a bit of commuting getting her there and back for a little while but I'd prefer her start at the beginning of a term. She's also soooo excited to be changing schools. Building the Leabrook with Fairmont Homes in Mallala, SA. I feel like you have told me before. I love that little school! Hence, why I kept working there when I was living in Glenelg and commuting there and back every day on a 3 hour round trip. I guess you have met her teacher? I think you teach kids a bit older if I remember rightly? We have a bit of a joke going about how she better be good at school (she is anyway) or with a teacher right across the road we will know eeeeverything haha. I did meet her teacher. She was lovely! Very happy. They actually do a lot more than Ella's current school too like learning a language. I also came on with some majorly exciting news. Our cabinetry was delivered today! Sadly, I have no photos because we arrived after getting a message from our next door neighbour and she came over and we spent the whole time chatting haha. I hate being locked out now! Great news about school! We are doing a tour of schools near us soon, but so far they look pretty good. Nice when things fall into place that way Re: Fairmont Homes in Mallala, SA - Gyprock done 296Mar 26, 2014 1:51 pm Thanks, It is great when it works out. Really happy because we didn't want her to go to two wells. Not only is it 15km away but she wouldn't make as many friends that live in the area. I was so tempted to go down yesterday and Monday but didn't want to be disappointed. I was thinking "it will sit there for a while like usual". Well, that bit me in the bum cause I went today and its all done but no one was there so had to catch a glimpse through the window and can't see the bathrooms. http://s1287.photobucket.com/user/tasha ... 6.jpg.html Rangehood and sink are in there and the laundry tub. Also, shelves in the WIR's. Hopefully I can catch someone there soon to admire it all properly and get pictures of the bathrooms. Building the Leabrook with Fairmont Homes in Mallala, SA. Sorry I've missed your updates but now I've come looking for you I can see your photos and everything is looking good. The side window looks okay in the photo--looks much better than mine did. I have the same glass, but when the door came the size of the pattern was totally different. The door look fabulous but the side light looked dreadful. I had it changed to match the door and I am really happy with it now. What are you changing yours to? Re: Fairmont Homes in Mallala, SA - Gyprock done 300Apr 01, 2014 9:16 am Thanks all. We are so happy with our choices so far. I can picture it with all the accessories I've brought and our furniture now. They are moving it along fairmont. I keep bracing myself for it to come to a halt again. Expecting the worst and hoping for the best. I would like frosted glass instead lucinda. I just really am not a fan of it and I want it to look good because we don't have a fancy door or anything because there was no point as we are having a screen door put on to get the airflow through on a beautiful spring day. I managed to get in yesterday I caught someone just as they were jumping in the car to leave and they were nice enough to let me in so I have some piccies. Mine were very rushed because I didn't want to hold the guy up but mick has more because I left a window open for him. I'll post them when he sends them through to me.
