Hey all we are in the finishing stages of our house in lalor. Unfortunately yarra water decided to put the front tap and water meter directly in line with our front door.
Has anyone had to move this before? i called yarra valley water and they said we could move it up to 500mm using a licensed plumber. If more than that we need to pay for the water to get cut off, capped and moved and that could cost thousands.
Any good plumbers in the north?

Unfortunately this is the case,
We had (Still do) our water meter installed in front of our door.
The cost to move it and the need to mess around with paper work from our water authority proved to much hassle to go down that road. Luckily for us we were able to build up a garden bed around it, and our landscaping company removed the tap and installed the irrigation where the tap used to be. So now its just the meter there and it really does not stick up that high. This also meant the tap was moved to another location for less than it would have been to move on its own.

Hi, We've been told we'll need to install a water meter before building commences. We have a 420sqm residential block in a suburban area, would it be best to get a 20mm…

Everyone always posts the floor plan. Do you have elevation schematics that will give us a better idea of what the designer is proposing?
