The New Rouse Hill requirements mean you have to include 2.7m ceilings, eaves all round, solar hw or solar panels, Telstra Smart Home and a couple of other things - maybe $15k all up but they are good things anyway. My slab is H class. If the house complies with developer guidelines and complying development guidelines approval can be 6 weeks or so - if you are into the normal council approval process allow a few months all in. Speak to the developer provided service to check your design and make it easy - it's free.
