I wish I could say we had some decent progress. Concreting was supposed to be done last week, but was delayed. Still to go: painting, whirlybird, built in robes, some taps, shower screens, aircon, garage door, and concreting. I have been told by the office that they have 100s of builds on the go. I was also told by the office when I questioned one of the delays "yours is not a priority". I am so sorry to hear that Maybe they should take on less builds so they can ACTUALLY finish the ones they have started? You must be so angry and upset. Fingers crossed for you that this all finishes soon... We have a Fairmont a few doors down, and the people are really happy with everything though, so hopefully it will be worth the wait. Re: Fairmont Build @ SA WEEK 30 - SLOW PROGRESS 188Jun 18, 2014 11:04 am Ha, we were told customer service was not built into the price! You would think that they would reduce the amount of work they are accepting to manage workload or increase prices. There are 6 Fairmont signs up already in our little section of 38 houses, 2 have started and got slabs... I just dont understand how they can say to someone "Yours isnt a priority" Well then who the hell's is? AND WHY ISN'T MINE? Again, I just hope it ends for you soon and you can wash your hands clean of it all. At least 9 times out of 10 the quality is there with FM and the finished product will be gorgeous. Like all the FM builds I've seen at the end. You'll most likely love your home to pieces, it's just a giant shame the journey there has had to be so ridiculously frustrating. I keep telling myself that. Most of the quality seems good. The slab and stormwater weren't great, but things like the kitchen and tiling seem good so far. So close......
