I'm on balmoral and will be able to watch your build from my front windows. I thought you would be local. You're welcome to come by n have a look and feel of Hebel floors. You'll love them. Looking forward to following a local build. Vess Re: My build thread - Kellyville 12Mar 09, 2013 12:26 pm 4evaesh So, a bit of an update- met with architect last night to draw first draft of kitchen, pantry, store and laundry detail. Can't wait to see it properly drawn up, cos i'm sure i'll change things around. Got into a bit of an argument with DH on whether to put a canopy or undermount hood. I feel undermount will look better for the design we're going for! Sigh.... ..feels like things are moving so slow, but I guess work is happening in the backend... HD We have undermount exhaust in kitchen. I don't really like the canopy ones because of the cleaning involved. They get dusty and sticky too easily from cooking. I managed to convince him to go with the undermount, one thing settled, hundred more to go! Re: My build thread - Kellyville 15Mar 10, 2013 12:55 pm Goodluck on the build! I love the plans and the way you have taken advantage of the block... some days I really wish we had planned out our backyard, as we will have 900m2 of space to landscape once the house is done, but no $$ i'm sure! haha I used to live near Kellyville - it's a great little spot... Thanks! Yes, the architect did us a favour in adding the landscape plan pretty close to what we wanted. Once we move in we'll have to see exactly how much of it we'd be able to do!!!! WOW, 900m2! Fake grass? HD Re: My build thread - Kellyville 17Apr 10, 2013 10:35 pm Hi All, We've just bought of a block of land of Amytis estate in Hector court (or was it Pupple street now?). Been lurking in the forum for quite a while now, trying to figure out the most suitable builder (was going to say the perfect builder, but I guess there's no such thing ey...) Thought I'd say hello and see if there are anyone else building/living around where we are. It's quite a move for us having living in Mascot before. =) Re: My build thread - Kellyville 18Jul 18, 2013 9:16 pm azure7 Hi All, We've just bought of a block of land of Amytis estate in Hector court (or was it Pupple street now?). Ours hadn't progressed in the last 3 months as we had to sort out a lot of things with swapping banks. That's done finally and we're keen to move forward, and finding a builder is our next step! HD Thanks 4evaesh. We have put in a deposit with Elderton Homes, was impressed with their service. Having said that, our land was delayed in getting registered (Was supposed to be registered in May... Just got the notice of registration last week) and hence kinda put out build in a freeze at the moment. Can't really do much till the builder surveyed the lot. Do you have a range of builders on shortlist? Re: My build thread - Kellyville 20Jul 24, 2013 9:53 pm Oh yea, I have heard of Elderton. There're a few people building with them that i have seen recently in the forum. Hope your land gets sorted soon. We do have a few builders on the shortlist - Morelli, Guardian, Benchmark and White Design & Construction. Not close on finalising at all.
