Your floors look amazing and I love those pendants. Not long now and you will be living in your gorgeous new home. Re: G3mmill Custom Build in Kalamunda, Perth-Flooring pics 503Aug 24, 2013 9:35 am Thanks Charnley 2 x sleeps to go!!! We've had a busy week, skirting boards were completed on Monday, the skirting painter came and painted them Tuesday and Thursday we had the front curtains installed and carpets in the bedrooms...phew! The week was not without a mishap the granite hearth for the fireplace was delivered late on Thursday and it was cut completely wrong, our fireplace sits in a corner and the piece they cut was a square with the corners cut off totally wrong and we couldn't use it. That meant that with no hearth the fireplace couldn't be installed on Friday...and it was sunny and dry too, we've rescheduled for next Friday but that depends on the weather. Curtains - the photos don't do it justice, my hubby was raving about the curtains he loved them. They really polish off the look of the room. I had them done by Textile Traders, the colour is a lot lighter than what shows in the pics, sort of a natural linen look. You can't see very well from the pic but the curtain goes around a corner, so in actual fact the curtain covered windows of around 7 metres. Good luck with your build. Re: G3mmill Custom Build in Kalamunda, Perth, PCI Take 2 515Oct 05, 2016 2:18 am I'm so pleased I came across this old thread while doing a Google Image search for ColourTech shaker profile kitchens! We're going with ColourTech shaker profile in polar white on our back wall upper and lower cabinets then two tone cabinet colours using tornado (grey) on the island bench and a greyish white looking stone benchtop. Seeing your kitchen all together like this gave me something to show my husband to help him visualise how it will look and remind him why we're spending so much upgrading to ColourTech doors Follow our build with Express Two Storey (Ventura Group): viewtopic.php?f=31&t=85122 I'd get the gutters to match your roof and pipes to match the paint - otherwise they become a feature. Nice pick with the paint colours! 1 26303 6 43115 Thanks NativeZen! I can't wait to start landscaping, though it's going to be a while away yet. No movement on site yet as of the weekend.
