Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Apr 16, 2008 9:53 pm Hi everyone,
due to issues with window manufacturers, I have had to change my window colour to woodland grey. from my samples it looks a little green/grey. this is now making me rethink my roof tile colours...was going to be blue dusk boral. so we now have a firm decision for windows, fascia, gutters, downpipes as woodland grey. the whole house to be rendered a taupe/oyster colour. DH thinks that the garage door should match the colourbond woodland grey, and I am inclined to agree. my concern is should we choose a roof tile colour that matches woodland grey, or go for a lighter grey/brown....or something else If we match, it may be overall a little bit too dark. I would really like to see computer experts show me how the different facades would look...or can you show me woodland grey? is it a green/grey, blue grey, or pure grey... thanks for your input, Jo Re: facade colour dilemna 4Apr 16, 2008 10:14 pm Woodland Grey appears to be a green-tinged charcoal colour. I would either go for Gunmetal or Black roof tiles (I used the Boral colour chart). I know you said you weren't keen on a dark tile, but with a taupe/oyster render, I think going any lighter would look a bit odd. Either of these colours, with a Woodland Grey garage door too, will make your home look sophisticated.
