Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Redink Homes Carramar Wildwood Estate - Nearly finished 721May 13, 2014 4:41 pm I've not been on here for a while so have only just read about the break in. I am so so so sorry to hear that wildwood! I feared that would happen to us, so I know how you must feel, as I know how I would have felt. I agree with pan raptor. I would like people like this to die slow, painful deaths!! I hope you're doing ok. Big big hugs! Re: Redink Homes Carramar Wildwood Estate - Nearly finished 722May 13, 2014 10:23 pm Thanks Mandy, yeah I've moved into the I don't care phase now....I'm sure you know that one well too! Just really inconvenient as have had to push all our post handover trades back and our painter has a big job next week which may mean we are held up even longer (not his fault as we have rescheduled 3 times now!!) Our lovely neighbours are keeping a close eye on the place for us which is really nice! But I really hope you are enjoying your new house On a positive note....I haven't posted anything positive for awhile! Haha our driveway is being poured tomorrow let's hope it looks nice and reignites my excitement again . We went looking for our paint colours last night and we think we like Tranquil Retreat for our internal walls....just can't decide on half or quarter strength. Have seen some lovely examples on here and on google. We want a really dark theatre to contrast against the big wall of white plantation shutters, our white double doors and our white skirting boards so we are thinking Timeless Grey full strength Re: Redink Homes Carramar Wildwood Estate - Nearly finished 723May 13, 2014 10:29 pm My nib wall in my study is timeless grey. I'll post photo if you like, it has white skirtings Re: Redink Homes Carramar Wildwood Estate - Nearly finished 724May 13, 2014 10:41 pm Oh yes please Leanne!!! Thank you!!! Re: Redink Homes Carramar Wildwood Estate - Nearly finished 725May 13, 2014 10:42 pm This is only one I have on iPad Re: Redink Homes Carramar Wildwood Estate - Nearly finished 726May 13, 2014 10:53 pm Oh no WWD, I just read a few past posts. I agree with Pan, so upsetting that people could be so awful. Fingers crossed it's onwards and upwards and that you have your beautiful new home to yourselves soon enough. I really like it. Is that full strength? Thanks Justy! I really hope it is 3 time lucky with rescheduling handover and this time it actually happens. It's just so frustrating....all excitement is gone until I know we have the keys in our hands!!!! It will happen eventually Re: Redink Homes Carramar Wildwood Estate - Nearly finished 728May 13, 2014 11:10 pm Thank you so much Leanne, that is great!!! I really like it. Is that full strength? Our bank wouldn't draw down the final payment until we had insurance in place. Even Redink told us that is what we needed aswell? thankfully we did or our lights would not have been covered! Re: Redink Homes Carramar Wildwood Estate - Nearly finished 732May 13, 2014 11:59 pm What insurance company did you go with? Re: Redink Homes Carramar Wildwood Estate - Nearly finished 733May 14, 2014 12:00 am Thanks Leanne, it actually looks lighter on your wall than the sample we did but I love the colour, I think I'm sold Re: Redink Homes Carramar Wildwood Estate - Nearly finished 735May 14, 2014 11:44 am Our insurance is through HBF We are getting Gecko Painting to do our painting, he is a good friend of a friend of ours Re: Redink Homes Carramar Wildwood Estate - Nearly finished 736May 14, 2014 11:50 am WildwoodDream We are getting Gecko Painting to do our painting, he is a good friend of a friend of ours Does he have a website? Couldn't find one... Re: Redink Homes Carramar Wildwood Estate - Nearly finished 737May 15, 2014 5:21 pm I don't think he does, I will ask and let you know Re: Redink Homes Carramar Wildwood Estate - Nearly finished 738May 15, 2014 5:24 pm Driveway looks great, I went past in the light of day. We ended up going Eucalyptus, as it was the lightest we could go. It does look a little creamy in comparison to our render but it looks really nice and they look like they have done a good job. Love the shape of the driveway given we have an angled block Just heard from builder and it looks like handover will be pushed out till next Friday Rescheduling our trades for the 4th time!!! Grrrr Re: Redink Homes Carramar Wildwood Estate - Nearly finished 739May 20, 2014 10:53 pm Felt like I needed to post an update.... Still love my driveway! Still sorting out insurance claim and still waiting for keys!! But did decide on Tranquil Retreat Quarter and Timeless Grey as our internal paint colours Re: Redink Homes Carramar Wildwood Estate - Nearly finished 740May 20, 2014 10:58 pm Paint colour choice is good progress.
