We have full height wall tiling in all bathrooms, toilets and the laundry. The tiles are all 400x200 on the walls and 300x300 on the floors, the laundry tiles are actually the same as main bathroom not what the laundry picture shows. I will be putting the same 600x600 floor tile down in living, kitchen, entry and activity areas later and that will match the rest of the house. How is your house going all happy and settled in now. Re: Kazzbah's Redink build 4Jan 28, 2013 1:37 pm Truely beautiful selections. Cannot wait to see piocs of the finished products. chelle Re: Kazzbah's Redink build 5Jan 28, 2013 7:28 pm Thanks dawesrus, your plan looks great I liked the lifestyle plan but it didn't quite suit our block. We have ocean views all the way across the back so wanted to take as much vantage of that as possible and have a bit of protection from the west from the sun. It looks like you selected white truffle essa stone for your kitchen as well like me, I had that in my last house and loved it, and DH liked it as well. We have also chosen the same internal doors as you. Kazzbah Re: Kazzbah's Redink build 7Jan 29, 2013 10:47 am Hey Kazz, love all your colour combinations!! Look forward to see the progress Thanks Nicci, yes it is a lovely block hopefully it will be many years before anyone builds behind us, as lots of earthworks and works to be done to develop into blocks and land isn't moving very fast here in Geraldton . Kazzbah Re: Kazzbah's Redink build 10Jan 30, 2013 10:12 am Davelle Hey Kazz, love all your colour combinations!! Those feature tiles are so cute Beautiful block also, look forward to more progress piccies Hi Davelle thank you for checking at my thread glad you like my colour choices even though this is my 3rd build it was still not easy all my tile selections were my first choice, except what was going on the floor in the laundry picture. I was originally having that in main bath and toilet as well, but changed to porcelain rectified the one in top bath picture as there is a 600mm x 600mm tile in same colour that we will put throughout house. Cheers Kazz Re: Kazzbah's Redink build 11Jan 30, 2013 10:53 am Floorplan looks awesome! Im also using same Laminex for my laundry and news basmati in kitchen. Can you explain the kitchen colours... think its gonna look great! Re: Kazzbah's Redink build 12Jan 30, 2013 12:10 pm LeanneR Floorplan looks awesome! Im also using same Laminex for my laundry and news basmati in kitchen. Can you explain the kitchen colours... think its gonna look great! Hiya LeanneR, my colours for kitchen are moose silk finish on all lower cupboards and drawers and the pantry all overheads are in sarsen grey silk finish, kickpanel is in the moose silk finish, essa stone is white truffle which has a lot of mica sparkle I had this colour stone in my last house. I have 800mm black induction cooktop and a 900mm black and glass rangehood they are de deitrich brand products. My tiles on splashback are 250mm x 700mm, I hope it all comes together well will post my kitchen layout shortly. Kazzbah Re: Kazzbah's Redink build 15Jan 30, 2013 6:35 pm kazzabah looking forward to seeing how your kitchen turns out as we are also having moose silk as a barback and on the study door and drawers, we have silk finish zincworks for rest of kitchen. white truffle is very nice this was also our first choice and then swapped to new basmiti Re: Kazzbah's Redink build 16Jan 30, 2013 7:03 pm Ocean Views.... oh so nice. Kaz i dont recall seeing truffle, i'll have to revisit selections, i, like 1rocky, have new basmati. My husband is a u/g driller and was trying to find one that didnt remind him of core samples.. Im pretty sure when he 1st saw new basmati he declared it looked it the most like what he worked with and hated it.. tee hee hee after all those selections and an hour or two at the tile shop he was open to re assesment. tee hee hee cheers chelle Re: Kazzbah's Redink build 17Jan 30, 2013 7:14 pm Love your plan, especially the beautiful alfresco. And you've chosen some lovely tiles ... Cheers kazzbah Thank you so much everyone. This all makes a lot of sense. I guess when you talk to a builder who butters up everything to look very polished, you get to start believing… 7 17581 thank you! do we need to get this or our builder before we commence new build on the block? 2 10410 Hi, did you get any money from insurance? if you did, does it match what you've already paid the builders? 3 9563 |
