Experience with Sett Homes

Patience is the key. Been playing cat and mouse with the bank since the approval.
Hi All,

Just an update of where we're at. We finally got the slab poured on Monday! Have been told by Joe that the frame will be up before Christmas. Hopefully it's smooth sailing from now on!
Awesome. Happy Conslabulations as the homeoners would say

Joe's promised us lockup by Christmas.
Brickwork should be largely done this week or early next week.
We've got the roof tiles, frames doors and windows.

Cheers,
Maverick
Far out, you started way after us and you're already at lockup stage.

Sounds like it's running smoothly for you. Must be so exciting! Congrats!

Any progress pics you can share?
I would love some progress pics also Maverick

Here we go. These are from last weekend
.

Not working mate the pics aren't coming up
Sorry about that. Next try..

Very nice mate. I like your roof tiles, are they from standard range or upgrade?
It's standard range mate.

Nice....

So you should be at lockup by Christmas. Its almost done.

Lucky you.

I've been told our frame will be up by Christmas. Not sure if they can make it on time, given that the frame hasn't even been delivered when we went past on Saturday.

We'll see.

Napoli, where are you at with your build?
I am still at initial sketches, just tweaking the plan getting it right. Looking at a march start hopefully.
Been a while since my last post. Have a newborn baby now.

House completed on time in September. We are happy with the result and after sales service has been good. No major issues found. Builder fixed issues promptly when notified. Happy with how they deal with rectification and the standard of care.

We just found one thing recently which needs to rectified .. hopefully in January. Light connection has been installed above stairs but not as a heavy light per the Clipsal plan.

Goodluck with your builds! I would definitely use Sett Homes again.
Congratulations on the birth of your baby. Yours must have been the first Sett Home completed and handed over at Edmondson Park.

I'm at lockup stage currently and am extremely happy with Sett Homes so far.
Joe is an honest and reasonable man.

Cheers,
Maverick
Thanks Maverick. House built in Pemulwuy.
Congrats on the birth of your baby Dean! A newborn and a new house, what an awesome time for you.

Before Christmas the frames were actually put up. Couldn't believe how fast they did it. Went to site on Monday and they started the ground floor frame, Tuesday they completed the ground floor, Wednesday they started the first floor and by Thursday the frame for the whole house was pretty much completed. These guys are like machines!!!

Hopefully bricking will start this week.
Congratulations Mikeann. It's all happening then
