Hi Guys,
I'll keep this as civil, short and factual as possible.
I've purchased a block in stage 7. When I enquired about purchasing the block back in may, the sales team had said it should be ready for council registration by October-November 2012.
I proceeded to purchase the block in July 2012 and was informed that in the contract the registration has a maximum date of early February 2013 but had a ultimate sunset date with unforeseen circumstances of May 2013(The way it was put to me by my solicitor was this is the absolute maximum stipulated in the contract).
I get a update in October 2012 saying it's now scheduled for May. I then don't hear anything for the rest of 2012 and speak with the sales office this month and enquired about the registration date which somehow jumped to July 2013 and when i questioned the sales member about any future delay's I was told no this should be it(In summarised words).
I then receive a email late last week and surprise surprise It's now September 2013.
Now I'm a pretty patient person but this is turning out to be a complete joke, I have no faith in the date 'scheduled' and wanted to see if anyone else is in the same boat and to see what responses you have from the Sales Office and whether there has been any further talk of compensation (http://www.abc.net.au/news/2012-11-22/h ... te/4385976) .
The other main thing that concerns me is that the registration period extends so far that I wont be eligible for the first home owners grant even though that was plastered over advertisements for brooks reach.
I look forward to hearing from you. Thankyou
