This notion in me has changed drastically since then and i thank my stars to have met Matthew Smith from Goldruby homes who has assisted me in doing it successfully time and time again. No matter how much planning one does before hand, once construction on your dream home has started, you always come up with ideas and changes that may not be big but mean the world to you. This is when one thinks, why didnt a choose a builder who is approachable, some one who cares to listen even after the contract has been signed. I highly recommend Goldruby homes due to their quality craftsmanship, affordable pricing, flexibility all along the building tenure and ability to complete the job on time. Their team is very approachable when it comes to meeting or contacting them along the construction period and keeping the process as transparent as possible. I have heard many stories from colleagues and acquaintances about builders offering jaw dropping prices and then later disapperaring after they have taken some progressive payments because they have gone financially bust. I have built with Goldruby homes during the Global financial crisis as well as during the period of the $21,000 first home owners grant but never had an issue where i have regretted my decision to sign up with them. I live in Franklin in one of their beautifully done up home, if anyone would like to drop by and have a look they are most welcome. I wish you all the best.
