Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jan 18, 2013 2:46 pm I was just looking at fridges online as we will need one when we move. I double checked our dimensions and the depth of the space for the fridge seems to be to be 600mm. Problem is all the fridges I can find are measuring more than this. Is it normal for the fridge to stick out a little? I can't think for the life of me if they do or not Otherwise I will need to contact the builder to see if this measurement is correct. Jamb your fridge hard against the walls and it will most likely work too hard and burn out much sooner. Lots of fridges have water chillers and ice makers these days.
