Rikster, after a whole page (or more) of false alarms

, can we please have some updated pictures of ... anything really ... as a reward? Maybe the front of the house again? Have you done any more landscaping or other changes?
How big is your decking please? Was it built by the same people as all other landscaping (as a package)?

Oops, sorry Lex, never answered your questions.
Nope, we have not done anything to the garden since the landscaping (except maintenance, pruning, weeding etc). Oh sorry, we did add the awning.
Everything outside the house was done by the landscaper. The deck is 5m deep by 10m wide.

I jumped on this post after searching chisholm bricks (cos thats what i have chosen) and your house is absolutely stunning!!!! Congratulations and all the best for a happy life there!

Hey Rikster,
May I ask what briks joint you picked? Is that flush??
I originally picke dours to be raked but I have since been told that you shouldn't have a raked joint near coastal areas because of the sea salt?? Has anyone else heard this or know if it's true or not?
We have exposure grade mortar etc. and I think we may need to reconsider our original request.
Can you please let me know what your brick join is? I think it looks great!

Hi There, along with everybody else who comes across this post I absolutely love your house!!! I really adore all of the colour selections Mrs Rickster has made. Could I please be so bold as to ask to have a list of all the paint colours used internally eg. Paint Brand, Colour Name and Strength etc.

I'm not sure if this has already been posted in one of the previous pages. If you would do this I would be ever so grateful and Im sure other readers would too!!!

I can't believe I just sat up and read 34 pages of a thread!

I'm truly blown away by the masterpiece you have created Mr and Mrs Rickster! Every room was obviously well thought out and you've given years of inspiration to many I'm sure who'll come across this thread as I have.

Thankyou for constantly returning and answering many of the questions. All through the thread I had questions only to have them answered a few short posts later.

I came to this thread because I had been looking for kitchen ideas for the white kitchen I want to have one day. I didn't realise by opening this thread up that I'd sit here until 1am dying to see what happened in the next room and the next!!

Hope you both are still loving your home and enjoying your children who I'm sure have grown up a lot since the start of this thread!

Yep I know what was I thinking all 34 pages!! I was running around like a zombie today after the late night last night. But I was really enthralled with the house. When I got the post that showed a before and after photo I was clicking on the before, then the after, then the before, then the after trying to get my head around what you had done to the place. It's truly amazing!

I defintely got some ideas. We have a block and are have drawn up a plan of what we would like and are now getting some quotes. So once we have the quotes I'm really going to have to get into the nitty gritty's of the decision making. I'm really not looking forward to all this stuff but I keep thinking oh well at the end, we'll have a house we love and the kids will love and most importantly that we all feel at home in.
