If they have your house/suburb on it you possibly will see it going up in stages. Our house in Melbourne shows it from just being a new estate, and even earlier, to all the houses going up. www.nearmap.com A balanced diet is chocolate in both hands. May I ask you what colour is your driveway and what type of concrete it was - did they have to spread the colour on top of concreted driveway, or was it all already pre-mixed? Also, what did they put under the reo? From some old pics, it looks like some kind of gravel / road base?? I mean, they didn't pour it straight onto clay? Thanks My signature is distracting people from my wise posts ... Re: Riksters place - New satelite image! 687Mar 28, 2011 12:12 pm Lex Hi Rikster, the house looks really good! Thanks Hi Lex, I'm sorry, but I do not remember what colour the driveway is. It was supposed to be a mix in colour, but it turned out much lighter than it should have. So, the concreter coloured it afterwards to the colour we chose. Unfortunately I have no idea what they put under the concrete. I have only the photo's to refer to. Looks like some kind of sand - sorry. Hi Donuts, I have no idea what to take pics of internally, as I thought I'd covered all of the rooms. They don't look brand spanking new now, after nearly three years of bashing from the kids. The big round thing in the back is the trampoline. The water tank is under the driveway. You can see the two manhole covers on about halfway down the driveway. Agree, nearmap is very up to date and I now have to use it more than Google (: (I used to LOVE Ggl maps, but now everything is SOOOOO outdated. With the help of a friend, we cleared & levelled the site. Then created the formwork. Then filled the bottom with broken bricks for the hardcore. So pretty Are sheds allowed to be pretty ? If you don't mind me asking..........what brand is it ? I haven't seen anything like it, locally. Looks almost american Hi Southies, It's nice to be back with something to post. We have not really done much, apart from maintenence & constant gardening since the build. We wished we had included a shed in the original landscaping plan. We had to move quite a few plants to make a spot big enough for the shed. The shed is available in Aus: http://www.swim-in.com.au/p/keter_bellevue_garden_shed_8_x_6.5_ft It's an Israeli company & I think they do sell most of them in the US (I've seen it on the US Costco website). It's UPVC, so it should last for ever with absolutely no maintenance, which is what we wanted. Re: Riksters place - Kid's play area 697Nov 14, 2012 7:14 pm Hi guys, We have just completed a new play area for the kids. We've actually created it on the landing, as there's so much wasted space up there. The kids are getting older & like to play upstairs these days, so we have moved some of their toys up there. So, thanks to Ikea & Target(US), we've managed to clean up some space in the lounge room. They actually worked out to be about the same price as Ikea aus with the postage from the US.
