Glad it all went through Re: Stockland Corimbia, Landsdale 82Feb 01, 2013 10:40 am Welcome newbie! congrats on the build.. im near the already built part of raeside! This is my second build.. have a read through peoples threads and always have good advice.. i always try and put everything in so i dont get nasty shocks at prestart.. my fiances brother is building with dreamstart and they been happy with them so far Butter that is excellent it all has fallen into place.. yayyy! you must be so thrilled! Its stressful as it is without waiting for other factors to fall into place. Home Group WA Monte Carlo Timeline on Page 1 Re: Stockland Corimbia, Landsdale 83Feb 01, 2013 1:49 pm Thanks everyone! this forum is super helpful and everyone super friendly!! good to know that we will have such great neighbours i will definitley be going through the posts and pictures that everyone has put up for prestart, so that sould hopefully help. Just worried about prices in prestart. We have already made so many changes to our floor plan: - extended the ceiling high to 31 throughout the house - extended one of the bedrooms out - removed a study room so now the living area is much bigger - changed the open plan living kitchen into a "U" shape and put a wall to seperate the kitchen from the hallway... the only thing driving me crazy is that my theatre room will be parallel to the living room? is this a bad idea? what are your thoughts? would it be bad to put a door on the theatre room? Thanks for your opinions everyone Location: Landsdale Builder: Celebrations House: Gibson Re: Stockland Corimbia, Landsdale 84Feb 01, 2013 2:08 pm Personally I wouldn't have a theatre without a door. I feel as though you want a theatre to be as sound and light proof as possible when settling in to watch a movie. The last thing I would want is glare on the screen from the lights in the next room, and a constant sound battle between areas. My Thread: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=62001 Re: Stockland Corimbia, Landsdale 85Feb 01, 2013 4:51 pm Welcome Newbie123, you will be a short walk from us as we are on Sissinghurst which is one of the streets that comes off Raeside - however we are towards the bottom near the park. Newbie123, you should come to our little Meet & Greet BBQ that we are planning on the 10th March - see earlier post in this thread for details. Congrates Butterbing - awesome news It is such a relief when it all goes through - I found selling our house pretty stressful. We didn't with our last build, intending to put one on later, which we did, but it was a PITA getting it done afterwards. I would definitely enclose when building, that's one thing we learnt from our last build, we have added doors in everywhere on this build. Re: Stockland Corimbia, Landsdale 90Feb 03, 2013 3:43 pm Greeny Okay so shall we lock in the 10th March??? Seems as though everyone is liking this date. Sounds good! We have some friends building just up the street from us who might come too. Re: Stockland Corimbia, Landsdale 91Feb 03, 2013 5:19 pm Newbie, we're going to ask the builder to put in door frames only in a few places, so we can add the doors later. I guess that way we can choose from our prefer supplier, not our builder's... Re: Stockland Corimbia, Landsdale 92Feb 04, 2013 11:57 am Hi everyone, been following/ stalking on your threads but been so lazy to type and start my own. Home Group WA Monte Carlo Timeline on Page 1 Re: Stockland Corimbia, Landsdale 98Feb 05, 2013 5:41 pm Is the 10th March locked in for the BBQ? I'm not sure now if we can make that date, we might have something on. What time were you guys thinking of meeting up? Re: Stockland Corimbia, Landsdale 99Feb 06, 2013 11:21 am Hi Palladian, Yes everyone seemed to favour the 10th March so we have locked that in. Meeting time was 1pm, hopefully this is good with everyone otherwise I am sure we could push it to later in the arvo if this helps.
