Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Stockland Corimbia, Landsdale 62Jan 26, 2013 8:39 pm Also spent the afternoon going around display homes! Not as happy with Aveling as we were, kind of walked out the meeting feeling like we didnt have our questions answered or actually got anywhere! Went through a Celebration Homes today and met a nice rep, he was very helpful and going to have a look at a couple more of theirs tomorrow. Their prices seem good and you get a lot of inclusions for the base price. We like the Aquila design - http://www.celebrationhomes.com.au/home ... loor-plans What we are thinking is using the option to make the alfresco into a games, and then either add an alfresco or built a patio on the side next to the dining and games room. We will see what tomorrow brings... Re: Stockland Corimbia, Landsdale 63Jan 26, 2013 8:56 pm jaymak I am having a bit of problem with the gradient on the front of the block as Stockland seemed to have made a mistake and now my house cannot be built on it. The builders are liasing with Stockland at the moment in order to make the changes neccessary (determining the level required to be able to build the house) and will get back to me end of this week. What a pain, hope they can sort it out for you. What is the problem exactly? Not the most technical minded here, so you'll have to spell it out. I'm up for a meet up too but February 10th is no good for me either. If you do end up changing it we'll be there with bells on though! Re: Stockland Corimbia, Landsdale 64Jan 29, 2013 10:46 am maybe a change of date? seeing as we have 3 or 4 missing out wildcats sorry for that.. we liked aveling but they never had time for us when we spoke to anyone in displays, so werent a big fan of them i cant rave more about celebrations staff and service.. sadly didnt end up going through them but they were sp helpful.. the house we were playing with was similar to aquila was the marion i think Home Group WA Monte Carlo Timeline on Page 1 Re: Stockland Corimbia, Landsdale 65Jan 29, 2013 11:19 am Okay it looks like we have plenty of interest but date is not going to work, so we will postpone for a later date. We are situated on Raeside Drive? Any one else buy land close to us? Titles come out in April. So still a bit of a wait, but still excited. Weve had a look at some builders and finally chose Dreamstart. The Dreamstart rep at the Corimbia display village wasnt very helpful. We went to the Brighton display village and really liked the dreamstart display home and the rep was super friendly and very helpful. Is anyone else building with dreamstart? I'm nowhere near Raeside but most of the others are. I'm in the section off Alhambra right in the middle near the bushland. My fiance and I are building with Summit Slab soooooon!! Re: Stockland Corimbia, Landsdale 75Jan 31, 2013 4:59 pm Thank you Twiggins!! This is all very exciting! good to know where not alone building in corimbia. We drove up to Raeside, but i think only half of the street has been prepared. Hopefully it will great once all the houses have been built. Were still waiting to hear back from the brocker regarding our loan application, as well as from our dreamstart rep regarding our final changes. I have a feeling pre-start will blow our budget, so i need to make sure i know what changes to upgrade, as some things cant be done after your house is built. If anyone has any pointers or tips regarding the land, building, siteworks etc to be mindful of , we would love to hear them. Thanks! There have been times over the last few weeks where I thought it all may fall through and with it our dream of Corimbia. With the sale of our house now official its finally feels real and the reality that our block will one day have our house on it has now become a reality.
